A few months ago, I sent Mr Warburton a message on Facebook (long shot, I know, but I diden't know if the current E Mail address on this forum was still working), regarding if KND was ever getting a release across the pond in Europe. A few days later, he answered. I've gotta be honest, I was a little taken aback. This man who created one of THE defining cartoons of my childhood, answering me, a little snot nosed Brit.
This was my question:
Hello. Just wanted to say how much I love Kids Next Door, and have wanted to know for a while, are there any plans by anyone, Cartoon Network or whoever, to make the series widely available in the UK? Itunes only has the sixth season at the moment, and I read on your blog that America gets the entire series ready to download. *sigh*...CN repeats them sometimes, but I don't have the time to watch CN as much as I used to be able to.
Sorry if I rambled there a bit, but do you know if anything like this is happening? Or will it be a while before us limeys get to enjoy your wonderful show in all its unexpurgated glory?

i barely have any idea what CN is doing with KND in the states, let alone the UK. normally i would have asked the folks i know at the london office but they've all moved on to other things.
(i met them whilst on a press tour for KND and had a BLAST in england. love it there.)

I was sorry to hear what I assumed, that Cartoon Network coulden't really give a toss about one of there greatest properties. But it was still cool to hear from him. Hope the info there is useful to anyone else reading this too.
