Yes, it's me, Phil, but before you consider me a spammer, please hear me out! I've a really major problem that I need the staff to help me with.

See, I registered on this forum under a Virgin Mail account a long time ago, but illness and personal matters (such as my parents speaking of divorce, etc.) meant I couldn't be on this board. Two years later and I wanted to return, but I couldn't remember my username or password. It took me an hour today to realise what my old username was, but not the password. So I did the necessary procedures and went on my Virgin Mail account to see the password.

Turns out that my account there has been disabled and all the e-mails have gone. Even the ones I sent. So I can't get my password back or log on to my old username, thus being reduced to a snivelling Recruit once more.

Can anyone of the Staff please reinstate my old name, promote me to my old 126-posted rank or at least help me out here?

Aye, it is. Honestly, I tried everything that night to see if there was some chance of bringing my details back. I unbounced my e-mails, logged in and out of Virgin Mail and GMail ... but it wasn't until I realised that I was too late to get my Virgin details back that I realised that I'd have to start my Post Count from the beginning.

Again I implore the higher Numbuhs up: Can anyone of the Staff please reinstate my old name, promote me to my old 126-posted rank or at least help me out here?

Sorry I didn't see this eariler ^^; but you can change your own name on your personal profile. And if you can remember your exact post count number, I'll give it back to you. And it's very possible you were deleted. A few years ago a different mod/admin deleted all inactive members, and it's possible your account was one of those.
