Wow, that is one hot episode. Especially when Kuki's house turned into a volcano. And the inside, it's really like hell when Kuki became a female version of Hades and Satan. Yikes!
At the beginning, I really like how Kuki said, "But dad, it's, frrrreezing in here!". But the whole time, I also can't believe how can Mr. Sanban leave his own daughter in the cold, a bad dad he is.

Not bad. Just a little crazy.
It's an exaggeration of how many parents keep the temperature very low to save on energy costs, despite leaving the house cold.

Me, I feel like it's a little crazy as well, including Numbuh 2 gave Numbuh 5 an embarassing moment about his stickied underwear. Which gave the scene a sound of s-e-x-y music for Numbuh 5.
As for the thermostat, usually they should not have only 2 buttons, thermostats must do have a sensor of its own like a microwave's "Sensor Re-heat" button, it functions to adjust the temparature to keep the house warm and comfortable. But not for Mr. Sanban, I can't believe he left his own daughter in the cold, like I said, he's a bad or naughty dad.

I liked this episode. It was funny when Numbuh 4 was like the parent and Mr. Sanban was like the kid.

but what happened to Mrs. Sanban and Mushi? we didnt see them throughout the whole episode, surely they were still in the house?

Mrs. Sanban was on business trip, and Mushi, I don't know, either she ran away after SPANKENSTEIN or if I'm wrong, she must be elsewhere. If she would be in that house, she could die from heat stroke while Numbuh 3 can handle it.
But too bad Numbuh 4 did not come along, if he would come along, he would be very emotional when he sees the Satanic Numbuh 3.

I love that numbuh 4 was time with his father in law, was awsome the fights they have!!!
and well, ya won´t believe me, but I dream with the beggining of that episode before I watch it for first time, and I watch it for first time when it was the new episode, so that one means much for me, but no one believe me, I dream it from the begining until when 1, 2 and 5 where in the ice cube and the ice cube was thawing.
