-Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit (two parts -- 2011 & 2012) -Nicholas Sparks' Message in a Bottle, A Walk To Remember, Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John, The Last Song, True Believer (2011), The Lucky One (2012) -Stephen King's Carrie, Cujo, Christine, Pet Sematary, Silver Bullet (AKA Cycle of the Werewolf; that's the title name of the book), Misery, Cat's Eye, Firestarter, The Dead Zone, IT (2011 remake, IN THEATERS), Dolores Claiborne, The Mist, The Green Mile, 4018, The Dark Half, Dreamcatcher, Secret Window, Cell (he is currently finishing the screenplay) -The Stand, IT (1990), The Tommyknockers, Rose Red, Kingdom Hospital, Storm of the Century, Desperation, and The Langoliers were all written into television movies and/or episodes. One of my favorites would be The Sleepwalkers, but it was an unpublished book by Stephen King; he wrote it into a screenplay though. Good movie. Very, very awkward. / / / -FELIDAE (German novel--it's not meant for children, not by a long shot! Go watch it on Youtube and you'll see what I mean ) -Watership Down -The Plague Dogs -A Bug's Life (it was based off a storybook called 'The Ant and the Grasshopper', I think ) -The Lion King 1 & 2 (first was based off Hamlet, while the sequel is Romeo & Juliet) -Princess & The Frog (loosely based off The Frog Prince, and The Frog Princess novel by E.D. Baker) -The Jungle Book -Fox & The Hound -Hunchback of Notre Dame -Secret of Nimh -Shrek (children's book) -How To Train Your Dragon -Cloudy w/ A Chance Of Meatballs -The Kite Runner -The Oxford Murders -Bumblebee Flies Anyway -Beastly (2011 -- I was pissed when it was moved to 2011 instead of this summer... no thanks so Zac, lol) -Charlie St. Cloud -TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD -What Dreams May Come -Jaws (You better believe it. >>) -Jurassic Park 1 & 2 (This too)
