They finally arrived back in the treehouse, and 278 called out "We're back!" only to walk into a room crowded with agents. 278 looked around and saw someone she sort of recognized, having met them once on a mission last year.
278 walked up to the girl who was her same age with curly orange shoulder-length hair and dark brown eyes. She was wearing a tight black dress that reminded 278 of Morticia Addams.
"Jade!" 278 called out and the girl looked over, "Adelina?" she questioned.
"What's going on?" 278 asked as people crowded all around them.

"Sectuhs from this town and towns close to it have been called to meet here. We're still waiting for the last Sectuh to show up, but they should be here soon." Jade said as she grabbed a sandwich from a tray as someone walked by.
"But why are they all here?" 278 asked.
"You don't know?" she raised an eyebrow, "Out of all people, I thought you'd be the first one to know about the vampire invasion!"
"Oh...well, I knew that! I just wanted to know why a mass meeting has been made?"
"Well, the numbers have been rising dramatically. If this keeps up, Halloween may be canceled!" Jade spoke with panic, "It was decided by operatives at the Moon Base that your sectuh's treehouse would be the best place to host a meeting since the highest number of vampires have been spotted right here in Jingletown. Once the last sectuh arrives, we're going to all come together and come up with a master plan to get them out of here for good."

Jade nodded, "Yep. The whole town is in a frenzy over it. Some people believe in them, some don't, but all know about it. Imagine how many people will, out of fear, close their doors to visitors on Halloween over this! That would bring the candy count down dramatically."
278 bit her black lip and looked around the room, "We only have two more days to have them gone and convince the towns people to celebrate Halloween."
"Don't worry, we can do it, we're Kids Next Door." Jade said proudly, "We just need a plan."

"I love bats!" 278 smiled, "But not the kind that change into humans!"
"Oh, I don't know about that..." Jade said, "If it weren't for them ruining our Halloween plans, I'd love to meet some vampires. However, this is candy they're messing with and that's fighting dirty."
Suddenly the door opened and the last Sector flooded in the room.
"Sorry we're late!" their leader called out and an operative from the moonbase at the front of the room nodded and dimmed the lights.
A large screen lowered from the ceiling and the moon base operative tapped his microphone and turned on the camera so that all could see him clearly on the screen.
"Greetings KND operatives, thank you for attending tonight on such short notice. As you know, we've come together to fight this growing vampire problem. Tonight we're going to focus on coming up with a master plan so that Halloween shall be saved and all candy shall be distributed as planned."
The room was filled with sounds of clapping, worry and questions and talking between the operatives.
"Sshh! Please quiet down!" the moonbase operative said.
"I've got an idea!" a boy with short blond hair and green eyes called out.
"Yes? Come up to the podium." the moon base operative motioned for him to step up to the microphone.
"Hi, I'm Numbuh 582. What if we all got gadgets to protect ourselves and offered to meet up with the vampires? We could have a meeting with our own security from the moonbase securing the area. We could ask them why they came here and come to an agreement. That way we'd get them out faster, hopefully!"

Misty slumped against a wall. "I can't eat much candy," she sighed. "I hate having to give almost all my candy away."

The room filled with positive reactions to Numbuh 582's idea.
"But what if we can't find them in order to meet?" an agent shouted.
"Uh...well, my sister's into Goth Rock music...and well, she's going to a concert today. Maybe a few agents could rush over to that concert tonight and look out for them. It's worth a try, and the show is starting soon, in a half hour actually."
"Hmm..Great idea!" the moon base operative nodded, proud of 582's well thought out plan.
"Thank you." 582 said, feeling honored.
"Where would we all meet?" another operative shouted up.
"At...uh...the park! It's big! We could meet up tomorrow at ten PM with them."
