Heres an idea! Since most of the oldbies left the forum after KND ended most of us have lost touch. I have about 4 oldbies I still talk to outside the forum. Since the oldbies have left we got alot of new awesome people but I still miss quite a few of the older people I have lost touch with. Since the mods can see everyone email addresses what would you guys say to having a KND reunion party type thing? The mods could contact everyone through email and see who would show up. That way the new users and old users could meet and talk and it would give people a chance to talk to people they haven't talked to in a long time. I talked to a few older users who I still keep in touch with a few said they would like that. Plus maybe some older users would stick around.
The mods could pick a day and a time (I know people live in differen't time zones but we could make it work) and then we could all get to know new people and catch up with old friends and maybe make a few new friends. I also know a few people who have changed email addresses but we could try to get as many people here as possible we could even invite Mr. W to join our little KND reunion if it happened.
I think it would be a great idea but it's not my choice to make. What does everyone else thing of this?

Although it's a neat idea, I certainly don't have anything invested in that. You can wait for Comsie to respond and see if she'd be willing to help with that. Myself, however, I don't think I would participate. It's not that I wouldn't want to, it just wouldn't work out for me. Too much going on. Plus I'm perfectly happy with chat over the Internet.
But it's a swell idea, Celra. People have done it before; the KND forum has had several loyal members for years. It could work.

I'm greatly confused about how this might work We would do a Day or weekend whatever would work better. Since you have Acess to all the members Email address you could email all the old members and let them know about the reunion. I would gladly help you send out emails. I was already asking some older members if they would come on whatever date is decided if we do this and about 4 older members already said they would come. All we would need to do is pick date and ask all the older members to sign in. If we got enough people to agree to particpate I was going to email Mr. W and ask him to drop by. I'm willing to work with everyone on this board to try to make this happen. Alot of the older members have Deviantart and Myspace and Facebook and I have a few older users on my MSN and I have email addresses. I think we would be able to pull this off. I'm willing to try if you guys are. This would be great for the new members and old members of the forum. |

Get everyone to sign in on a certain time and day. I'd love to do this but I'd like you to help me Cosmie it would be easier for me. I got the game plan basically set though. I'm gonna need you to help me send out emails to older members though as you can see their addresses. THANK YOU SO MUCH COSMIE! If you want a Chatroom though we can do that too! I'm open to any suggestions anyone else may want to add. |

Since this is a forum and a great deal slower than any form of chatroom, I think a chatroom might be a better option. If everyone logged onto the forum, we'd just get a lot of lag and no real discussions, especially if it was just one day we organised this on. But a mix of both could certainly work, just direct the members to both.

A chatroom? Just make a group on MSN live, then get everyone to sign in at that time.  It works for Evo.  And I totally support the idea. |

It might be neat to see some of the "old blood" around here again, but then, I've never considered myself to be either "old guard" or "new hat," I'm just here.

It's a project that involves a lot of dedication, organization and, most importantly, time. I don't think really it's a realistic idea. It may've possibly worked while KND was at the height of its popularity, but not with forum members coming and going. Other than this website, there aren't many places available in order to declare a reunion of KND fans, since, really, they're scattered all over the place.
Again, it's not to say if somebody wants to put in that time and dedication (and has incredible organizational skills) can't go for it. But it's not something I myself have any time to get involved with. So best of luck to whoever decides to take on this task.
