PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING! Thank you. ^^
I know it should be my decision, but these are things that sometimes I need others to help me out with. ^^;;
For instance, I tend to "migrate" in my imagination a lot. It's very active, always coming up with plotlines or ideas to write stories. Right now I'm trying to decide which idea to write of first. Sometimes I let go of ideas and a week later they come back but with more plotline and jazz.
Zoss: Wandering Starlight - It takes place in a fictional kingdom called "Zoss", mainly about a young farmboy who dreams of a princess who is trapped in crystal by a curse. But the only way to find her is that Elijah Stook must follow the path of stars to guide him through the nights. He is assisted by his friends, Redstar and Flare, last of the fire-dragons to join him in his quest to rescue the princess of Zoss. Meanwhile, on their journey through Elberry Woods to search of Princess Lina, they encounter an ally or two to battle off myths of danger and wickedness; The screeching harpy, a nutty-cockatrice and thier "master" Drakly, the last manticore who hopes to overthrow the royal family of Zoss.
Or...
Blue Captivation - Tired of the fighting between her divorced parents and smart-aleck older brother, 18-YO and high-school graduate Ellie Johnson decides to rent her own apartment and live away from both parents during the summer before she sets off to the Frontier Community College in town in the autumn. Her next-door neighbor, Ross Moore, a young man from St. Louis Missouri moves in recently and the two don't seem to take a liking to each other at first. Althought there is always the exact thing on Ellie's thoughts every night.
His eyes. Ross's eyes. So blue, and so... captivating.
... I'm hoping that Ross and Ellie's relationship just won't turn out to be Edward and Bella's relationship. 0o; Because... Ellie's pretty much a self-insert of myself. (Like Bella is Stephenie Meyer.) I'm trying to narrow flaws down, though.
If there isn't enough information, I'll try to explain as much as I can--but not too much. ^^;;
I'm not sure if Zoss would be a rip-off of Narnia... ; I've only seen The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Besides, we all know that Aslan could kick Drakly's butt.
So I'm just wondering... which should I start writing first? I've gotten both of them mostly developed in my mind, and I'm thinking of writing the middle-end-beginning. Probably these two will be novellas, or even more?
