Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe i got a bit offended by that post. Fanbrats? Is that the way to call someone who has a dream? Is that a way to call someone that is still up after a very sad ending? Cool down dude, or would you like me to call you fandumb because you still believe? Respect my ship, I'll respect yours. Very well. Nigel/Abby fanbrats might leave this Courting Commander a bit confused, but if nothing else, my view of Nigel and Rachel as a Kids Next Door leadership couple shouldn't change. I trust that whatever special Nigel/Rachel deviantART trade Numbuh 712 has in mind will leave Allie quite satisfied, which leaves me to ponder how my YouTube collection has been doing. I trust that my review thereof should go well.

(blinking with surprise while rubbing temple with confusion, then clearing throat) Erm... right. Actually, Black Rose, I was using a word that Allie made up. I'm assuming that you believe that Nigel Uno and Abby Lincoln make an excellent couple, but if you happened to look at the last few pages, then you might have seen my special Kids Next Door story about the 2008 Republican (and Democratic) National Convention(s). Then, there's "Summer Camps, Lies, and a Memo" from earlier in this thread, as well as my references to the Sacred Strugglers as my favorite villains in real life for the Kids Next Door to confront, but perhaps to be more specific, there was someone on deviantART who apparently bashed one of Allie's most recent Nigel/Rachel images. To be certain, I've conducted an exchange with Fangirl4315 and cherrycutie1and5 about how they see Nigel and Abby as a couple, and I've estimated the dynamic within Nigel and Lizzie as a couple in the past. In the process, I've tried to compare such ways of thinking with my own about how Nigel and Rachel fit as a Kids Next Door leadership couple. Striking? Different Courting Commanders and different Cherries might have different opinions about their respective couples... and in the end, such an exchange of ideas might work well. Personally, I have deliberately united my favorite Codename: Kids Next Door couples under the idea that freedom is a powerful idea for humankind in a way that submission couldn't be. My past stories should prove that assumption, right up to "Presidential Conventions, Unconventional Adventures".

@art trade with 712,
Cool!I bet it’s awesome.^^
@black Rose,
Calm down.We’re all shippers,all we do is to ship,not get into fights with each other.
@angelo,
I think you better stop with the ‘fanbrat’ name-calling thing.It might offend even more 1/5 shippers if they were to pass by this thread.Let us just make peace (or simply ignore each other until the end of time).

Well, she makes a valid point too. Name calling really isn't fair on any side.

@black Rose Dude, not all the 1/5 peeps are "fanbrats". I'm talking about a couple fans of 1/5 that I pointed out that were going a bit overboard with the ship, bashing 1/362. That's how the "fanbrat" word was created. (actually... it was created for SonAmy or something) I apologize for bring it up. I'm responsible, don't let Angel take the heat because of me. He's a good guy, he didn't mean to harm anyone- he was just telling me not to worry about it--which, I quit worrying about it and we went on discussing other things. And if that doesn't... really, make sense to you, then--My motto, "It's in the Past, Time for a Better Future", meaning forget that this happened and such. I was just having a bad-morning and brought this "term" up. Again I apologize. ... Okay, moving on. Just a quick note guys: I'll be out of town after school, heading to St. Louis with my Aunt to see Vampire Weekend preform at the Pageant. So... I may not be postin' all night long or in the morning. Hehe. ^^ I need some indie-rock. ^_^

In fact, upon further reflection this morning, I realize that it was Allie's post right after the one Black Rose cited -- but her post before this one even more so -- that told me that I could consider the matter concluded. Let there be no mistake: I would like a firm, sincere estimation of how different couples involving Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie might work so that I can have clear, strong points of reference for any future thoughts that I have about Nigel/Rachel plus the Courting Commanders movement as a whole. Now that I remember that YouTube comment on "Take Me There" -- which I've added to my YouTube favorites collection -- GoldenFlither said that Nigel/Abby might be confusing for seven-year-olds, and I'm fine with such an opinion, just as I'm fine with the sincerity that, say, prettywitchiusaka expresses in supporting Patton/Rachel or Suki, delitelia, and Romantist Caveman have expressed in supporting Nigel/Lizzie. Call it sincere fascination, if you will, but this Courting Commander, Panda Warrior, and Sweet Yo-Yo Soldier stands by what he just typed, as well as his thoughts behind it, namely shipping involving either Nigel or Rachel... which leaves me a bit struck about what just happened. I should have quite an interesting two days ahead of me right now, so there's that. Let the light of freedom shine across the Courting Commanders thread in the meantime, affirming decisively that Nigel Uno, Rachel McKenzie, and their friends can stand for freedom for not just kids, but humankind itself.

Very well, lead Courting Commander. Tomorrow it is, then... September 11, 2008. Has it really been seven years? It might be a solemn occasion for Americans, but several new developments involving my favorite real-life villains remind me of the basic concept I was seeking to tackle in "A Time for Truth, No Time for Shame", "Summer Camps, Lies, and a Memo", and "Presidential Conventions, Unconventional Adventures", maybe as well as "The Rise and Fall of Aztlan", to a much lesser degree: the stealth jihad. Striking? Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie were eager to defeat those two House of Saud brothers and the Federation for American-Islamic Relations, but this time around, the Islamic Liberation Party appears to be gaining prominence as a new group of Sacred Strugglers for this Courting Commander, Panda Warrior, and Sweet Yo-Yo Soldier to think about in the future. Perhaps I will conclude... by reaffirming my call to let the light of freedom shine across the Courting Commanders thread as September 11 approaches.

@fanbrats
Is this what this "argument" is about?
How silly is it to come on here and make one post about a ship featuring a FICTIONAL COUPLE?
Listen. It's a cartoon; it's made for fun; it isn't REAL.
Everyone who was involved in this needs to calm down (I'm not talking to you, C7, I'm talking to this one-shot poster) and stop getting so worked up over fictional characters.
Sheesh.
Even though I was a shipper back in the Good Old Days, this silliness makes all shippers look ridiculous.

(staring with thorough confusion, then clearing throat to focus... only to simply exhale wearily) Well. That was striking, but perhaps in the end, I have a conflict between basic principles to ponder, hopefully brought to life through my various stories. Perhaps you have your own thoughts about various couples themselves, Madame Hoagie's Gal, if not necessarily their fans. Hoagie/Abby, Wally/Kuki, Lee/Sonia, and Nigel/Rachel should be no exceptions.

Well, no need to worry too much, Dreamer. I was thinking through an interesting, to say the very least, exchange with GoldenFlither at least 20 minutes ago. I will admit to being struck that she told me that she doesn't think of Nigel/Abby the same way others think of it. After all, I am someone who retrospectively wanted to turn the 2008 Republican (and Democratic) National Convention(s) into a Codename: Kids Next Door story idea -- with some Nigel/Rachel moments in it -- after introducing the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution, the House of Saud, and the Muslim Brothers' Society into the world of the Kids Next Door, with special guest appearances by the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Islamic Liberation Party. Then again, that last group might have been a little more prominent, so to speak, in "Presidential Conventions, Unconventional Adventures" than it was in "Summer Camps, Lies, and a Memo". Politically dramatic and adventurous? I should think that Nigel and Rachel's personalities work very well in confronting the Sacred Strugglers, and given what tomorrow is, I would not have it any other way.

Golden's always made good arguments for 1/5 from what I've seen, and I've read some of her fics on FF.net. 1/5 still isn't my cup of tea, but her stories are good and she potrays the pairing believably. ^^

Truly? Well, there's nothing specifically stopping GoldenFlither from such a way of thinking, and that might be the beauty of what Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie now seek to defend under the guidance of my imagination. If my memory is accurate, she said that her understanding of Nigel/Abby was complicated. Then, there's delitelia's assumption that even though Nigel and Lizzie have many, many misunderstandings, they love each other, and that's all that really matters. Striking? I shall seek to stay true to my own view of Nigel and Rachel as an excellent couple of Kids Next Door commanders, defeating anyone who would favor submission, hate, and deception over freedom, love, and truth... from the Sacred Strugglers to the Universal Brotherhood.

mhgThanks for clearing that up, Madame. ^_^ DreamerTrue. Very true, though I'm with you Dreamer. 1/5 isn't my type either. (never was... never will be) Yet, I've never read a single- one 1/5 fiction. Yeah... As I said, Never was, never will be. Okay, not trying to sound harsh here--but can we stop this 'ZOMGGG FICTIONAL COUPLES ZOMNGNOMYCOUPLEBETTUH' Drama, please? ^_^;;; ... Though, I still am wondering how in the heck did Black Rose get the password so quickly... seeing she only made one post. ... The concert = absolutely flippen amazing. I'm sure Nigel and Rachel would enjoy it if Vampire Weekend were in KND form. ^^ The new opening band was great, too! "White Williams", they're called. I thought it was a bit short, though... only lasted 'bout an hour. Still, amazing show. I had lots of fun with my aunts. They played 'Campus' for the 2nd track of the concert... made me think of Nigel/Rachel so much. Gah, need to write the GKND Cinderella soon. >.<
