(Ah shoot. Sorry about that. I didn't even realize there was a post before mine.)
Marlin I suppose. I haven't seen The Incredibles in its entirety.
James Conway (Goodfellas) or Michael (The Deer Hunter)?

Cosmo vs. Wally

The only Cosmo I know is the magazine, so Wally.
By the way, if you're unfamiliar with the character, just say pass or choose the one you do know. (Unless you really hate that character and have a feeling the one you don't know would be better than that one.) And to be nice, ask characters people will probably know in the first place.
Luke Skywalker (Star Wars) or Captain Kirk (Star Trek)?

Captain Kirk. Don't really watch Star Trek, but Star Wars isn't for me.
Blossom (PPG) vs. Will Vandom (WITCH)

Blossom. I actually used to watch the original Powerpuff Girls for a while.
This is rather difficult considering our different taste in entertainment (other than KND). I'm trying my best to think of characters cartoon-lovers would know.
Shaggy (Scooby-Doo) or Popeye?

Popeye. Spinach > Scooby Snacks
(Yeah, I'm trying to stick with characters that people would know, since a lot of my interests would probably be too obscure for you all. Public domain characters usually work alright, I think.)
Green Goblin (Spider-Man) vs. The Joker (Batman) I think this one depends on which version of each character you're more familiar with.

I'm more familiar with original Batman movie, but even though he's not quite like the one played by Ledger, he's still better than the Green Goblin. Therefore, all in all, the Joker.
By all means, Romantist, feel free to throw out those obscure ones as long as it's you and me.
Davy Crockett (The Alamo) or J.D. Cahill (Cahill US Marshal)? (Both of his finest films.)

Lizzie Mc Warie (Lizzy Mc Warie) vs. Raven (That´s so Raven)

It's because I don't know Lizzie Mc Warie and I've actually enjoyed a lot of Raven Symone's work, so I choose Raven. (She's more talented than Cyrus, anyway.)
In celebration of his animation sensation being re-released...
Jim Lovell (Apollo 13) or Paul Edgecomb (The Green Mile)?
Side Note: If you haven't seen The Green Mile yet, you must.

Jim Lovell. Bugs Bunny(Loony Tunes) or Doug( from the movie UP)?

I haven't seen Up unfortunately, but I feel safe saying Bugs Bunny since I grew up with him.
Sorry if I'm thinking up characters from old stuff. I'll try to keep to more recent family films.
Sullivan (Monsters Inc.) or Marlin (Finding Nemo)?

Dude, Cruella de Ville without question. One of the greatest movie villains ever.
Speaking of villains...
The Joker (Batman), or the Joker (The Dark Knight)?
Don't answer unless you've seen them both, 'cause it's a toughie.

The Phantom Of The Opera vs Jigsaw (Saw movies)

Eh. They're both different types of characters, but I see the similarites. Jigsaw all the way though. Gotta love his John Cusack-y-ness.
For the hopeless romantics...
Rick Blaine (Casablanca) or Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)?
