I know there was a thread like this before, but it hasn't been updated in months... I don't want to cause any trouble of "bumping" it, so I decided to create another topic.

Yeah... I'm not THAT much into Anime. I just like a few of them. Not a "anime fangirl". XD But sure, some animes are pretty cool.

I guess I don't like it that much because there are so many overrated anime/mangas out there. I prefer underrated-ish ones...

So my favorites would be...:

-Android Kikaider: The Animation
-Hamtaro
-Kimba the White Lion/Jungle Emperor Leo
-Tama & Friends (... I watched it on Saturday mornings before Kids WB aired. So. Cute. Like Hamtaro, but kitties and puppies!)

Monster-animes:

-Digimon Tamers
-Monster Rancher

And the newest, I want to get into when it airs in 2009:

-Dragon Drive.

Like Allie, I'm not a huge fan of anime either. But I definitely love Naruto. In English too, even though there are many people who HATE the English dub.

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite. I'm also a fan of Naruto, Trigun, One Piece, Samurai Champloo, and Lupin the 3rd.

I'm not really that big on anime either, I used to watch loads when I was younger but now the only one I watch these days is Pokemon.

Favs are the Gundam series like Gundam 00, it was da awesomness!! Never really like Gundam SEED/Destiny that much..

I also like Negima, Transformers Armada/Energon/Cybertron, Voltron, Gaogaigar, Code Geass, Macross Frontier, Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note and other mecha anime.

Naruto/Shippuden, Bleach, the Dragonball series, One Piece, Pokemon, Digimon and Sailor Moon are okay.

But remember Toonami guys, cuz it's one of the reasons they firsted shown anime on CN like DBZ, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star and so.. And it was awesome! Too bad it was cancelled... Yeah, I missed Toonami alot. TOM is awesome.

My favorite anime now is Fullmetal Alchemist, there's also Rurouni Kenshin, Detective Conan, Blood +, Azumanga Daioh, Ayashi no Ceres, Fushigi Yugi, Pokemon and Prince of Tennis.

Right now, I'm interested in watching xxxHoLic, Itazura na Kiss, Ouran High School Host Club

So far I like 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' and 'Love Hina'.XD I don't watch anime often,partly cause either the dubs stink or I'm just plain lazy to.^^

Ahhh, I got back into another old anime I used to watch on Fox Kids when I was younger. It's called 'Escaflowne'. Anyone hear of that?

Fushigi Yugi, Ceres: Celestial Legend, FullMetal Alchemist (not the movie), InuYasha, Cardcaptor Sakura (preferably not that dubbed Cardcaptors junk. They cut out some of my favorite pairings...), Tsubasa (kind of prefer the manga, though), Fruits Basket, Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin.

AWESOME ANOTHER ANIME THREAD.

OK, so I'm a huge anime dork. I'm even going to Otakon this summer... again. (With 3 friends) Anyway, most of you guys seem to like the more mainstream stuff. And when I say mainstream I mean that my favorites are just extremely obscure, and some haven't even been released to the US.

But I started the One Piece manga and love that. Naruto's all right but I've heard way too much about it. I've gotten bored with Bleach, too.

Anyway, I really can't stand the people who obsess over anime and then think that Japan is this God-country that's superior to us because they make cartoons with deep intricate plots and thought-provoking dialogue.

Well, their harem shows do provoke certain thoughts from me, I'll give 'em that.

Ooohh Otakon looks really good from the videos i've watched of it. But sadly i'm in the UK with about only one con there which comes twice a year ¬.¬

I went to Anime Expo a few years back...loved it, but haven't had the chance to go back since (last year couldn't afford it, this year....was supposed to go, then got the positive pregnancy test so had to cancel).

Oh, Nerima Daikon Brothers is one I really love....mature audiences, though. And if you don't like musicals, don't bother.

That's one of my faves! And I think as long as someone doesn't despise musicals it's fine since the songs are funny.

Yay, someone else who likes it! ^_^ This is how big of a dork I am...3 of us were going to be the NDB (our Hideki had to cancel, which was bad, because our Ichiro couldn't sing to save his life). I actually hand drew binders for the songs...For example, Hideki's folder has a drawing of him on the front, and another on the back, then I wrote out the lyrics to *every* song by hand, and highlighted his solos. ...I am a dork.
