Sometimes, things make ya just wanna yell. Or bang your head on a wall. Did you have a bad day? C'mere and vent.
NOTE: This isn't meant to be a bashfest for anything/anyone, just a place to give off a little steam if you're feeling frustrated about something.
My iPod (that I've had for 3 years) is broken, and can't be fixed. Or, I can have it fixed, but the cost would be the same as buying a new one. And it just broke on its own! One day, I plugged it into the computer to charge it like always, and the computer said it didn't recognize it! And there's no way my parents are gonna get me a new one (not that I really expected them to, it was a pretty expensive iPod), so I have to somehow raise enough money to buy a new one. And even when I buy a new one, the songs I have on my old nano won't be able to transfer onto it. >.<

*blink* Whoa, I'm 16 and I don't even have an I-pod or a cellphone. ... Because I don't really need those things. I'll stick with the cd-player for now. :3 But cheer up! I'm sure you'll be able to raise enough money. *nod* I plan on working at Save-A-Lot during my next summer break to raise my own. Back on business of this thread... Today, during Concert Choir, our substitute teacher had us sing 'fun' songs by taking a break. ... My head was pounding, my mind screaming out, "Shouldn't we finish the songs that we're supposed to sing instead of cramming these stupid OTHER songs into our folders? Sheesh!" I just want Mrs. Barbre back... I know, it's a happy moment with her baby, but lots of us in the choir are begging on our knees for her to come back. XD That would be my yelling on the day.

And even when I buy a new one, the songs I have on my old nano won't be able to transfer onto it. >.< Why not? When I won a new iPod, I was able to transfer all the songs from my old one onto it quite easily . . . =/ Anyway, I'm really not liking my AP English class this year. The teacher we were supposed to have suddenly transferred to one of the other schools in my district, so apparently they just told this other teacher "Hey, you have to teach this class now." She's never taught an AP class before, and she seems really disorganized, although she swears she's got everything under control, which only makes me suspect the opposite. On the first day she slammed us with a project, then told us we'd continue to work on it all that week. But then the next day she had to go over a bunch of other stuff with us. And then the day after that we had a test on the summer reading, which continued on to the day after that. But then at the end of class she abruptly announced the project is due on that next Monday. My partner and I had to scramble to finish that weekend. And then last Friday was my school's Homecoming, and the schedule was all hacked apart because we had two assemblies to attend, and classes were all cut short. Usually when that happens teachers take it easy, since there's less time and no one can really focus that well anyway. But when we walked into AP class that day, Teacher was all "Write an essay on the rhetoric of the first two paragraphs in The Poisonwood Bible, it's due at the end of the hour." Not cool . . . And today we just got assigned another project. =P

@allie Aaw, I'm sorry about that. How much longer is the substitute going to be working with you guys? SprixieI feel your pain. AP homework is not fun at all. And even when I buy a new one, the songs I have on my old nano won't be able to transfer onto it. >.< Why not? When I won a new iPod, I was able to transfer all the songs from my old one onto it quite easily . . . =/ The reason my iPod is broken is because any computer I plug it into won't recognize it as an iPod, just a "device that has malfunctioned".

@pip It's all good, don't worry 'bout it. :3 I think he has one more week to go, and then he's outta here.

I would vent about the lack of guidelines for being promoted from Newbie to actually get access to the real forum, but due to the lack of guidelines, I don't know if that would hurt my chances.

D8> At school today, someone stole my awesome hat. It was a combonation of a frog headband and a life-sized origami helmet, and I've had it since like fifth grade. I left it by a tree and when I looked back it was gone. T___T I told my teacher and he made no attempt to look for it, nor did anyone else. Now it's gone. I want my hat back.

I still sometimes can't get over it. When I was in still in boot camp, Chief Earll (I don't know what his job was) and Chief Schornik (an RDC from my first division) were total assholes who really got on my friggin case. They never really said it, but they were thinking I wasn't going to even make it through boot camp.

Stupid freaking....gaaah.
I don't know if you've heard about the Storkcraft crib recall, but it turns out about one million of their cribs was recalled officially as of yesterday. They're sending out kits to fix them so that they're safe, but first you have to get through to them. Online is so busy that you can't even get on their webpage. I've called their hotline a few times now, and all I get is a busy signal. Ugh. So my son has to sleep in his playpen until we get the kit and get his crib fixed, and that means I have to sleep on the couch (which hurts my back like crazy) so that I can hear him if he wakes up during the night.
