Operation: INTERVIEWS was one of...no, the most epic series finale I've ever seen. I almost cried, but the part that made me wanna cry was the part where Numbuh 1 was about to leave, but stopped by the rest of Sector V, where they bid their final farewells...I liked how Numbuh 4 said his farewell...And Nigel's parents...I didn't expect Nigel's mom to be an ex-KND operative too!
...I still wonder, what did they tell Nigel's parents of his disappearance? I mean, I know for sure his parents will be decommissioned after Numbuh 1 left...wouldn't his parents notice why their son is missing? What will be KND's explanation?
...and there was this part of one of the KND scientists who said the GKND were trying to fight adulthood, which they considered to be a disease...when Numbuh 1 returned to Earth, did it mean that the whole thing is over, that there was already a cure against adulthood? Or did he come back 'coz he's old?
There's a lot more questions in my head, but I forgot what are they. I got short-term memory loss xD

Ah, season finales. So many ideas and theories, so little time. Perhaps we may never find out the eternal secrets that forever lurk in the KND universe (and perhaps, never will), but it's awesome to see that there are some of us fans who still question and observe certain plots/plotholes/characters/events/etc. in the series and make theories out of 'em. A part of me inside screams, "this fandom still lives!" despite the KND being over and gone. Despite it being but a mere memory of the past. Despite the members of this forum are slowly disappearing and moving on to find a new life and interest. Perhaps there may be hope after all.
@nigel's return to Earth He probably returned not necessarily because the fight against adulthood was over, but perhaps because a successor or another earth operative would take his place, chosen by the GKND. But I wouldn't know. IMO, I think what Numbuh 5's older self meant as she said 'Oh, and Numbuh 1? Welcome back.' was something different. As if he has returned, but not completely. Like he was able to find a way to communicate with Numbuh 5, but only for a short period of time. And so he tells her about how Father might ask about where he might be, bout the last mission, about the GKND.... and the rest, they say, is history.

Revolutionary: You do have a point there... ...and I agree with you there. The fandom will still live on, even though KND is over. Perhaps there may be hope after all. ...I couldn't agree more.

I can't watch INTERVIEWS again because of how emotional it makes me. T_T
I cried so hard. T__T Mr. Warburton ended the series masterfully, it was EPIC. That man is a genius in every sense of the word. Sector V's last moments together were exactly as I imagined them, and I couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out. I love how open he left the plot for more fanfiction all the fans.
D8 But man, I still can't believe it's...OVER. KND changed my life, I first watched it when I was a little girl. And it ended about 4 months before the big 13. So basically it was my entire childhood. T_T And now it's over. But it doesn't really feel that way. It is still my fandom and I'll never stop loving it, ever.
I have a lot of theories about how everything progresses afterwards, but I fully believe that Nigel was able to come back eventually. <:3 Right? *fangirl*

I agree with you there, numbuh128. Although it wasn't as nail-biting or explosive as Operation: Z.E.R.O., I admit that Mr. W made a great ending that wrapped up the series as a whole, and at the same time tries to tell us the true essence of being a kid. Although I had been hoping for a more grander conclusion, like an epic battle that would end all epic battles, the end felt a bit more emotional and uplifting (since it ends with Nigel returning back to earth, but ya never know), and that, for me, was enough. For teh record, I didn't cry when I watched I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. I tried to; I could feel it prickling my eyes, but that's it. Nothing else. But I badly wanted to. I can never understand why though. Perhaps from the very beginning I knew it would all come down to this? I may never know...

I cried at the good-bye scene. More than just a little, I really sobbed. It was so touching; they really made me feel how much these friends were going to miss each other, but it was bittersweet, too. It showed that Number 1 is a true hero, through and through, who will do his duty to protect others no matter what.
I thought shooting the future interviews in live-action was a nice touch, and the way (and the point at which) they revealed how the ships turned out was cool. And they wrapped everything up but left open plenty of possibilities (why Number 2 came back, how he knew what father was planning, what happens next) for fanfiction, which is what fans love more than just watching the show.

Hmmm....what I think is, from Mr.W's side, I think its a fair enough ending. I mean, think about it; we keep in touch with him very often, asking him questions, making us art, asking him more questions...he knows we're crazy about this show. So he got together with his staff and said, "Hey! I know a terrific ending to this show that gives us a break without killing the characters!!" Hence, he made the episode that leaves so many questions to be answered. Some of the questions are ALREADY answered (like in FOUNTAIN, where numbuh 1 says the DCFTDL made him bald), and some were hinted, (Maybe Abigail was leader of the group when that happened and she feels responsible?)....and some are left to the fan's imagination. Is he trying to annoy us? Is he trying to make us hate him? No. As a matter of fact, he did us a HUGE favour; instead of killing the show....he left the rest of it to our imagination, and hence it lives on through YOU, the fans. Also, I can't help but wonder why you guys say he's left, hence its over. That's the point; its not. He's probably still going to keep in touch. He may not have to stay in space forever. He could do some KND experience work, and then come back to his team. Also, for those of you KND-lovers that hate being teenagers....maybe that no-KND-above-13-years rule gets vetoed. After all, we're all kids deep down, really. No one ever really grows up deep down; we just get older, we know more stuff, we experience more in life...but we're never "not kids anymore". Its up to you. That's the point of the ending. Hope I made sense.

It's always sad seeing a tv show or anything ur close to end but this wasn't the last mission. It was there last as sector v with numbuh 1 but it's not the end of the KND and now we can use our imaginations to create new missions. But mr.W definatly made a great show wish it was still on... There's still a lot of questions.

I really wish that the show didn't ever have to end. That's why I decided to make up the story about KNDelightfulization to explain an alternative to the Galactic KND thing. You know what we should do? We should all pull together, and combine our creative efforts, get the permission from Warburton, and make our own KND series online. I'll help with writing out the plotlines for episodes, sound good?

Well, the Galactic KND is probably the most-hated aspect of the KND ever. That's pretty much the only bad thing I can think of in the series. Not to mention INTERVIEWS literally never airs anymore. The only guess I have for that is because people didn't like the Galactic KND. I think most would prefer my idea of the Galactic KND being a hoax that gotten way out of hand. We could do an episode based on that. Maybe recomissioned Numbuhs 2-5 were just tweaking some details so as to fool Father to thinking Numbuh 1 was gone forever. Sound good?

well when the show did come to a close i was a little disappointed because they leave a few things unaccounted for example we have no idea what Numbuhs 2-4 do after Numbuh 5 becomes Supreme Leader and what happens to Numbuh 362 and the Delightful Children so not the best way to end the show
