This thread was made before, but it was by a spammer and is now in the WOS.
I vote Obama. He plans to pull out American troops in Iraq, unlike McCain, who said the war could last a 100 years and he wouldn't care.
To me, McCain just seems like another Bush. I think it's time for someone new to be the American leader.

As I said before, I'm a Republican but I would like Obama to be President. He's unique and could finally make peace between the USA and Iraq. Make love/peace, not war. ^_^

I'm waiting to see how the Veepstakes plays out, but I may end up not voting for either. I know I will NOT vote for McCain, and that will be even worse if he chooses Tim Pawlenty as his running mate. Evan Bayh has come up as a possible Obama running mate, and he is a Hillary crony who helped draft the Family Entertainment Protection Act. He would be a no.
I am right now leaning toward the Libertarian ticket of Bob Barr and Wayne Root. I know Barr has a checkered past, but people say he truly believes he was wrong, so if he fully adheres to the Libertarian principles of smaller government and lower taxes, Barr will be my man.
