I don't realy know. It seems more a thing that belongs on the campfire board.

@the episode analysis
When it gets off the ground, I suggest taking it from GROW-UP on.
There was one person (no longer on the forum) who always stated that the show went downhill after Season 1, because there was too much extra clutter added (the global KND, the Moonbase, the story arcs, etc.)
I don't agree. I know most people here don't agree. I don't think the first season episodes are as good as the other seasons. I think CAMP is adorable, and GROW-UP is the first glimpse of what was to come, but the rest of the stories just don't have that extra...sparkle, oomph, whatever the later seasons had. (Coincidentally, in the US, CN is rerunning KND from Season *2* on, completely skipping Season 1!)
So there's my suggestion. Comments?

A few episodes were pretty cute in the first season, but most of them were kind of silly. But why not start with CAKED? It's the first episode (I think).

well well, look what's been brewing quietly under my nose this whole time? And here I thought the fans have given up on this site. Good to finally see some excitement starting to creep back into everyones words!
I agree with you Madame Hoagie. Season one appealed to the little kids, I believe, and as it grew and matured (much like a child!) it's more subtle, involved and matured plots brought attention to preteens, teens, and adults alike.
All the suggestions everyones made: yes, yes, and yes again. Let's go with all of them, from the episode analysis to the new GKND ideas board. Guys, we've all been on the verge of quitting, and if we want to keep the remaining members (as well as our own) interest, we need to dish out something new every now and then. I volunteer my help on the episode analysis, and will be checking our Lords fanfiction ideas.
Oh yes, and as for the Member Of The Month idea, I'm willing to draw a picture each month of the member, sort of as their "photo" to put on the wall. And maybe I can put an edge to it, like...the more times you win member of the months, the more detailed and hopefully better the picture will be. I'll have to wait to get a new scanner, unfortunately those horrible hp ones and gave up on it out of frustration, but it shouldn't be long before I get a new one.

It doesn't matter much to me where we start as far as the episodes. I'm game for whatever the group wants to decide. Should we request a sub forum in the Episode Discussion area? I want to try to keep the series analyses "pure," that is, not letting it get sidetracked with extraneous info or devolve into subjects far removed from the episode itself... @fanfiction Since I don't want to get dinged for resurrecting an old thread, I could either copy and paste the pertinent information to this one, or we could go the PM route. The info is still plenty visible, back in the original thread, but we might benefit from it being "centralized" here. Also, I am open to ideas for other stories if no one likes what's available. Some of the stories marked at taken I'll be reopening, so no worries.

ahh, well, I believe I deserved to be dinged then. I already posted in the original thread- I apologize =)
Now, with the episode analysis...I just want to make sure I'm clear on what it is so I don't muck it up. Basically, we outline the plot of the episode, correct? And then we discuss how the characters developed, how relationships developed, introductions of new KND agents or villians...am I on the right track here?

Sounds on track to me. We want to go over how each episode affects the KND mythos as a whole, as well as the evolution of each character (particularly the episodes that focus on one or two characters specifically). Also, track when a new character is introduced, things like that. Don't worry about resurrecting the old thread--it's done, no real damage. Plus, I'm not a mod, so I don't ding people.

Normally I don't like to reply to myself, but I'm posting to ask how we wanted to go about doing the episode analysis thing. Do we want to start a special thread somewhere? Or perhaps create a sub-forum? I'd like to see us move forward but I don't want us to do it half-heartedly.

This fourm is becomming so narrow minded. thats all im saying really in that sentence. Considereing what it was, it's pretty dead. I know what you mean; I'm a member on a harvest moon forum, and it's been going for over six years. It's a lot more sucky and "narrow-minded" than it was six years ago, the really awesome people have left and people are hardly ever on anymore. Plus, we seem to be under attack from a tsunami of really noobie noobs.

I know, that's how I felt about this fourm. I was on it when it basically just started, and when I did join, everyone knew everyone, and everyone seemed so involved. Now we just have a lot of young kids on the fourm, and all that stuff. It's like the KND FF section on ff.net is now being taken over by 3/4 n00bs.. and it's leaking into the SP section >< There are so many becomming bad sp fics it makes me sad to see such a wonderful fandom like that die. And don't even get me started on the HSM section. It's like war in there if you are against Troyella/Troypay.

I know what you mean I ALWAYS hated 3/4 and if I want to read a good fic in the KND ff section I CAN'T because everything is either 3/4 or 1/362 I'm not fond of either and most of them are shitty anyway.
I remember the good days when this place was GREAT we had 20-30 people on at a time and there was always a reply.

(Even though I'm a large 1/362 fan) That well... offended me, Celra. ^^; You are right about 'everything in the romance is either 3/4 or 1/362' but not all fanfictions based around them are...erm.. "shitty". If you're talking about...well, "Nigel's Leading Woman" fanfiction of 1/362... That would be me. o.o

I can't really say anything about that since I don't read KND ff anymore. But I'm sure they are a few good fanfics out there. Besides, All the KND fanfics I liked were back in my n00by days>< They make me feel sad i actually liked them.

Besides, All the KND fanfics I liked were back in my n00by days>< They make me feel sad i actually liked them. I think you should be proud of your "Best Story Ever!" fanfic. Now that's a kind of KND fanfiction I can never get tired of. It's hilarious and random. If I only had randomness in my mind, I would write a large fanfiction of humor and random..ness. But there are people who try to be random and funny in fanfiction, but it doesn't seem to always work. Take me for example, I try to be random and funny while writing fanfiction but it usually...well, either creeps out the people reading it or saying "I'm sorry, but that just wasn't enough what I was looking for. Good try though." So I stopped my 'random, humorous, rolling on the floor laughing' fanfiction and get together to write other types of KND fanfiction; mostly friendship, romance, family, or adventure. Sometimes humor, but G or PG rated. Now I'm rambling. I'll stop now.
