I was having this idea for a 'normal' KND operative (who went through something horribly wrong) but I think it will probably suit an alien better. BTW I'm really going to town here ^^. Please bear with me. Here's my profile. I put a spoiler here because 1) people might want to know about the race by talking with my OC, or 2) It's long and might make you feel like you're reading a history textbook. Race information:
Race name: Tanaris
People: Singular = Tanarian, plural = Tanari
Biology The people of Tanaris are tanned skin bipeds who followed a similar evolutionary path as the Humans of Terra. Tanari have six fingers at the end of each limbs, and they have two arms and two legs. Their two eyes, like humans, were developed to see the world in color and Tanari possess depth perception. They have no night vision at all: their society needs light to function. Tanari in a group seem to use a minor version of instinctive telepathy when doing a task. It is not uncommon to see a Tanarian suddenly pick up a tool and hand it over to another Tanarian without being asked. Tanari are long-living creatures; a child becomes an adult at the age of 300 years old. Life expectancy is about 1500 years. Their population is noticeably smaller than other races', as there is no need to proliferate. A loss is greatly mourned and a childbirth marks a family-wide celebration.
Society Tanarian society began roughly 4500 years ago on the plains of Eltar'un. Tools were made, and farming was crucial to farther development, though hunting was still common. A Tanari hunting party in action is an awe-inspiring sight, as almost no plan is needed when each Tanarian know exactly what everyone else is doing. As such, proper planning is rare in Tanarian society. Despite the fact, everything is made almost to perfection. This fact is also the reason why a Tanarian may find it difficult to work with members of another race. The group telepathy is another reason why often the smartest, and not the strongest, is chosen as group leader. Tanari are often taught to know a lot of things equally rather than specializing in one thing. After all, the loss of a specialist may cripple the society. As of now, the Tanari technology and society are in the Earth's equivalent of the Industrial Age, though they are developing much much faster due to contact with aliens. Tanari society has no definite family members as a child born is incorporated into a larger 'family' unit, often comprised of people originating from the same tribe. Still, Tanari do know of the concept of parents and siblings. Unlike Humans, Tanari despises conflicts and found violence between members of the same race (let alone the same 'family') very distasteful. This is not to say that Tanari are cowardly pacifists, as they have came into short conflicts with some hostile races. If their old hunting ways were any indication of their battle efficiency, then it is no wonder that the conflicts are often short.
Attitude towards the other races As the Tanari live longer than most races, they have multiple times the wisdom and knowledge of the shorter-living races. The Tanari adults view adults of other races like children, often become patronizing at times because they are unsure if the 'child' understands what he/she's saying. Tanari also adapt quickly, so a new technology can be understood and used effectively. Tanari prefer to stay with members of their own race mainly due to their peace of mind when there's a group telepathy present. Tanari always try their best to be understanding should other aliens they come into contact with have behaviors they found 'odd'.
Other races' attitude towards Tanari Most races found the Tanari (even Tanarian children) patronizing and smug. Tanari seem to overshadow other races in everything imaginable, given the time. As it is almost impossible to beat up a group of Tanari, the Tanari are often left alone. Some found Tanari to be priceless advisers. Some races also found that a Tanarian alone makes a great pilot, but an even better soldier in a group of his/her fellow Tanari. As Tanari have an instinctive phobia of the dark, some found it amusing to suddenly turn off the lights when a Tanarian is around. A Tanarian that had recently mix in with other aliens seem quiet and analytical, but only because he/she expects everyone else to understand his/her telepathy. When this unfamiliarity goes away, Tanari are found to be friendly and generous (as long as they are not being patronizing and smug, anyway). OC profile Real name: Tas Eltar'un Beilaan neh So-Taier (Literally translated to - child named Beilaan of So-Taier (a 'family' name), belonging to the sphere of Eltar'un.) GKND Codename: Numbuh 1080 I'll draw a picture when I have the time. As of now, I'll wait until this RP is active.

Numbuh 1H: Oh, I'm fine. I'm just anticipating the arrival of a new recruit. He's... human. You see, I've never met a human. I don't know what they're like.

Numbuh 1080: "Humans, you say? From that blueish planet called Earth, if I did my research right? *chuckle* How different it is from the dry planet that I came from, but I digress. As for your anticipation, I say worry not. Remember, as my people say, "Do not hate, fear, or pity them for they are different, but understand them." He maybe, actually quite likely, to be very.......'unusual' by GKND standards, but I think the surprises he hold will be quite enjoyable to observe. I say relax, and all will be well. As for myself, I must admit I am most curious about this race, and from what I've read their contradiction seem to be both their strength and weakness, as paradoxical as it may be."

(Ooh, I might join. I'll probably join with some kind of human-hybrid, where a human child was taken from earth and genetically modified on this random planet or something. XD I have to go run some errands now, so I'll take a closer poke when I get back.)

(Will make my character in a minute; I may use this picture I used on another forum for a roleplay of this really demon-ish looking guy. Actually, he looks like he has boobs because of how his coat folds, I think, so I may say he's a girl that looks like a guy 'cause (a) I'm a girl, (b) I'm not that great at roleplaying boy characters and (c) *shrug* I just feel like it. XD I may use a different picture if I find one I like better, though.) EDIT: Changed my mind, found a cooler picture. XD Numbuh: H 20 Name: Aehr (pronounced Air) Age: 10 Earth years Origin: Phobos (a moon of Mars) Race: Pheirtian (Pronounced Phee - er - she - an) Race inhabits: Pheirtians are found on Phobos and Deimos, the two moons of Mars. Information: Aehr's parents disappeared shortly after she was born, leaving her in an orphanage. She was never fostered, but was a very good friend to all of the other children in the orphanage. She was the first one to join the KND in her area and soon recruited others from the orphanage. Her excellent skills and boundless intelligence soon boosted her up to a high ranking, and was then considered for the GKND. Aehr has a light, bubbly personality, but isn't excessively hyper. she's your shoulder to cry on, is always full of great advice and she's always there for you, no matter who you are. She refrains from judging people and is always happy to help. Because of the lack of gravity on Phobos, even though she is ten she is about as tall as a human adult. Aehr is an early bloomer, too, meaning she very much resembles a blue human woman with long ears. Her race was originally very much like the humans, but because of the low temperatures and lack of oxygen, their skin colour changed and ranges from very dark blue to turquoise. This race can easily withstand other temperatures, though; they do not suddenly feel fried in a slight wave of heat. The hair colour of this race varies from very dark green to almost white. Appearance: Click here to see Aehr Image is (c) to BabyBluBug on DeviantArt. I will probably add more information about both Aehr and the Pheirtians later, so watch this space. XD
