Even the Kids Next Door have rules.
I noticed that there's no list of set standards, mainly outlining what is and is not appropriate in terms of topics, repeat topics, going off topic, courtesy, and language. Consequentally, posters will post as they see fit, which may or may not corespond with what others have experienced on other forums.
So, I think we need some set standards for this forum specifically.
And possibly a moderator who is on the forum more often, as most of the current ones seem to be very busy with school or something (I've only seen 2 or 3 at all, myself).

Oh! Silly me. I overlooked that. My bad.
Thanks, Digi. ^^;;
I still think we need an extra mod, though. The only one I see on with any regularity is NumbuhInfinity. And one can't handle all the stuff on a forum this size.

I second that about new mods. Some of them haven't been on in 6 months to a year, or even longer (Shwoo, Sammeh, etc.).
However, that decision is up to Stardrifter and the current active mods.

But we already have six mods, and I still see them on-line from time to time. But yeah having another mod who is more often online would be a good idea.

Might help if there was an application process with areas asking about qualifications, how often they can be on the forum, and the general "Why should it be you" questions.

I dont think we need anymore mods. We have 6 and most of them are on everyonce in a while.

This forum doesn't need anymore mods, there's enough.

Here's a question for the mods: what's the policy on PM solicits?
Example: someone with less than 10 posts with whom who have never had any sort of forum or digital interaction with who PMs you about joining their forum.

Generally, since mods can't read your PMs, it is ignored -- hard to prove. If someone is spaming you with such suff complain to, say, me via PM and I'll see what I can do. Otherwise just ignore it.

What I do think it might be good to have here would be regular Moderators (as in, they just mod the forums they're assigned to, rather than the whole forum).
And you should start considering about demodding the inactive staff members. If they're inactive, then what's the point of keeping them on their positions?
Here are my two cents about this.
