Campfire story: The KND versus the fangirls

Sonya dragged Tommy and Lee down the hallway, looking for Father. She was still trying not to giggle - just the thought of Tommy or Lee kissing a guy was too hilarious.

"Do we have to kiss them on the lips?" Lee asked, "Because if we do, I'm gonna need a lot of mouthwash."

"Nah." Sonya said. "A kiss anywhere will be enough...I think."

Sonya looked around for any sign of Father, or the fangirls. Suddenly, there was a rumbling noise, like that of a stampede, in the hallway.

"IT'S THE FANGIRLS!" Tommy screamed.

"Let me handle this." Sonya told the boys. She quickly stashed the boys in a nearby closet and approached the crowd of fangirls, hoping that she could avoid getting infected.

"Hey, wait, STOP!" she shouted at the fangirls, but they kept approaching. Sonya thought for a minute, then shouted, "I know where Tommy and Lee are!"

The fangirls stopped and gasped.

"Where, where, WHERE?!?!?!" one squealed.

"First, you gotta tell me where the other guys are, in order of oldest to youngest," Sonya explained, "I...um...I haven't gotten a chance to glomp and kiss them yet!"

About a few minutes later, Sonya opened the closet door.

"I told them you were in the kitchen." she assured the boys, while holding a list in her hand "Now, let's hurry! Our first stop is in the attic, and judging from the size of the mansion, it's gonna take a while!"

Sonya led the boys up the staircases. She wasn't feeling so well forever, and thoughts of sparkles and ponies were starting to appear in her mind...

[Celra]

As sonya was still being as giggly as ever now secretly thinking of ponies she then just randomly blurted out and said "I THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE TO KISS THEM ON THE LIPS CAUSE THAT WOULD BE FUN!" sonya shouted

"WHAT! SONYA YOU SAID WE DIDENT HAVE TO!" Lee yelled at her

"Well i lied you do! well if you want it to work so get that mouthwash lee!" Sonya said

"Well thats not so bad as long as Lee does most of the kissing,Sonya can i see the list? i wanna put it in my pocket" Tommy said

"Ok cutie-pie here ya go!" She said as she handed it to him

"WOAH....Did you just call me cutie-pie?" Tommy asked quite shocked

"Um....No....HEHE...now c'mon"Sonya said

"Were not going anywhere with you! you became one of them." Lee shouted!

"Guys yes one did touch me but im still the same sonya you know!" Sonya stated

The boys then took a broom that was in the closet and shoved sonya in the closet and locked it because they dident wan to get infected.Tommy then heard Lee saying something behind him he turned around to see lee has been infected to!He then ran into a room and locked the door. TOMMY REALIZED HE WAS IN THE ATTIC!

"I made it! Now i need more backup wonder where father is?" Tommy asked himself.

Suddenly, Tommy heard footsteps approaching. He turned and saw Father, in the "enslaved", zombie-like stage of infection.

Tommy cringed. One the lips or not, this was gonna leave a bad taste in his mouth, he just knew it...

Tommy dashed down the stairs. Father was still confused about what had just happened, and Tommy didn't wanna be around when he realized HOW he'd been cured.

Tommy looked at the list. Chad was the next one to kiss, and he was in the Delightfuls' bedroom. Hopefully, the Delightful Girls weren't there anymore.

He looked around. No sign of fangirls.

Tommy could see the door to the Delightfuls' room. He ran towards it and opened the door.

In the room, Chad was lying on the floor. Even in sleep, he was obviously in that recognizable zombie state.

Tommy heard something outside of the door. In fear, he grabbed Chad's limp body and dashed under the bed. From under the bed, he saw two people enter the room...

[Celra]

"Oh Great the delightful girls are back" Now he had to wait

About 20 minites later they left FINALLY chad was still sleeping and tommy dident wanna kiss chad because he knew that chad would beat him up! but he knew he had to do it so chad would help him get the others.SO HE DID IT!

Chad had woken up at that kiss point and said "Um....What had happen to me? WHY DID YOU KISS ME IM NOT GAY YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS TO EXPLAIN OR GET BEAT UP!"

"It was the cure so haha now your cured" Tommy explained

"Alright fair enough....Whos next?' Chad aked?

Tommy looked at the list. The next boy to get kissed was Maurice, but he wasn't in the Delightfuls' mansion.

"It says here that Maurice is in the treehouse!" Tommy told Chad, "I hope that there aren't any fangirls left there...

Tommy found the ship he had traveled to the mansion stuck in the wall of the bedroom. He and Chad piled in, and Tommy piloted it to the treehous of Sector V.

"Tommy," Chad said, "Just a word of warning - I think Numbuhs Three and Five might still be in there."

"Then they can help us!" Tommy exclaimed.

"No, Tommy..." Chad sighed, "They're infected. In fact, they were the ones who got Maurice."

"Oh..." Tommy said, his face turning from excited to worried.

The ship landed in the abandoned hangar of the treehouse. Tommy jumped out, followed by Chad, and looked around. According to the list, the fangirls were keeping Maurice in Numbuh Five's room.

"Um, Chad?" Tommy asked, "Hoagie never really let me hang out here, so I'm not sure-"

"Follow me, then." Chad interrupted, "Back when I was Numbuh 274, I had to memorize the layout of most of the treehouses in the Kids Next Door."

Chad led Tommy down a nearby hallway, where they walked carefully until they reached a door with a big red "5" on it. Tommy opened the door and saw Maurice curled up on Numbuh Five's bed.

"Well, here goes nothing," Tommy said, nervous.

Suddenly, Chad heard someone running down the hallway.

"HIDE!" he shouted.

Just like in the Delightfuls' bedroom, Tommy and Chad had hidden under the bed. The door burst open, and a fangirlified Numbuh Five burst in.

"Hey, Numbuh Three!" she shouted, looking out the door, "Are you SURE you heard Tommy and Chad? They're not here!"

Numbuh Five left, and the door shut behind her.

"That was close." Tommy whispered. "Now, which one of us is gonna do the honors?"

"Frankly," Chad said, "You're not a very good kisser." He got out from under the bed and climbed up on top of it.

After five seconds, Tommy heard Maurice shouting.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!" Maurice yelled.

"It was the only remaining way to cure you!" Chad explained, "And...well...I guess it worked!"

Tommy looked at the list. The next one was...

"Hoagie!" Tommy exclaimed, "Quick, we gotta get back to the Delightfuls' manison!"

Once they got back to the delightful childrens mansion they dident see any fan girls so they read where numbuh 2 was it said that he was in the laundry room so now that tommy has chad and maurice to help him he went to get his brother,Finally they had reached the laundry room.


"Ok so whos going to kiss him?" Tommy asked

"I say you because he's your brother" Chad answered

"And that exactly why i cant!" tommy said almost starting a fight

"Fine I know how we can settle this....Since you kissed me....BADLY!...and I kissed Maurice then i say Maurice will kiss your brother and then your brother will kiss who ever is next Like a pattern" Chad said

"Ok fine guys but this is the only time im going to kiss a guy EVER!" Maurice added

"But....I kissed father to...."Tommy added

"Whats your point?" Chad asked

"There is no point" Tommy replied

"Then be quiet about it" Chad answered

"Ok Im as ready as I'll ever be" Maurice said as he kissed numbuh 2

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Numbuh 2 demanded to know

"The only cure." The other 3 boys told him

"Oh....Well....Thanks for curing me.....even if that was sooo wrong....." Numbuh 2 said

"Alright whos next?" Chad asked

"Numbuh 1" Maurice answered

"Ready hoagie?" Tommy asked

"For what tommy?" Numbuh 2 asked

"To kiss numbuh 1" Chad said cutting in

"WHAT WHY DO I HAVE TO?" Numbuh 2 wanted to know

"Because your next in the pattern we made up" Maurice said

"Fine,Where is he?" Numbuh 2 asked

"Well....It says that he is in the sewer" Chad said wondering why they would put him there

"To the sewer" tommy said

Chad lifted up the heavy manhole leading to the sewers, and he and the rest of the boys climbed down. At this point it was starting to make sense why the fangirls would put Numbuh 1 here - the place stunk so much, that no one would DARE steal him from them.

"It says here that Numbuh Four's down here, too!" Tommy told the others, reading the list.

The boys wandered the sewers for what seemed like hours, when they came across Numbuhs One and Four, snoozing in a dry area of the sewer.

"Does this virus make boys sleepy?" Tommy asked.

"I don't wanna do this, I don't wanna do this, I don't wanna do this..." Numbuh Two muttered, realizing what was going to happen next.

"Just kiss 'em already!" Chad shouted, pushing Numbuh Two towards his infected friends.

"All right, all right..." Numbuh Two sighed. He gulped and walked towards them.

Maurice, meanwhile, was on the lookout for any fangirls. He heard a splashing noise from the direction that the boys had come from, and decided to sneak back in that direction, to see what was going on. There was a light coming from around a corner, where Maurice remembered seeing another manhole. He heard whispering and giggling, and realized he and the other boys were in deep trouble. Quickly, Maurice turned around and headed back towards the other boys. When he had gotten there, Numbuhs One and Four had recovered, and the boys were looking at the list.

"Okay, next we have to cure the Delightful Boys - " Chad told the others.

"Guys!" Maurice interrupted, trying to keep his voice low, "We have to get out of here! The fangirls are after us!"

[Celra]

The boys made it out of the sewer,They placed a cinderbloc at the entrance so the girls in there would stay in there. The delightfuls boys were at the park in the sandbox so that was pretty easy now numbuh's 1 and 4 needed to kiss the 3 of them.

"Ewwwww i dont wanna do that!" Numbuh 1 protested

"Me neither Im not gay!" Numbuh 4 said

"Well im not either and i kissed a boy" chad told numbuh 4

"Well your a cruddy teen traitor!" Numbuh 4 shouted

"Guys keep it down we dont wanna be heard" Numbuh 2 yelled at them both

"SOMEONE JUST KISS THEM!" Chad shouted geting mad here.

"Fine ill kiss all 3 of them just as long as when the pattern comes back to me i can pass" Numbuh 1 said

"Fair enough" Tommy told him


"Why nigel we dident know you cared so much" The delightful boys said once cured

"*Sigh* I dont its for the sake of boys"

"Alright delightful clones its your turn to kiss who's next" Chad told them

"Alright who is next chadsworth" The delightfuls said

"Lee" Tommy told them

The boys carefully walked up the stairs of the mansion. Fangirls could be anywhere...

"Lee and Sonya got infected," Tommy explained, "So I put them in a closet near the attic. Be careful when you open the closet!"

The Delightful Boys gulped and headed toward the closet. Quickly, they opened it, yanked Lee out, and shut the door before Sonya could escape.

"Would you please look the other way?" the Delightful Boys asked the rest of the group.

The other boys turned away, and turned back when they heard Lee shout.

"What was THAT?!" Lee asked.

"You got infected, and it was their turn to kiss someone..." Tommy explained.

"The virus will take 24 hours to cure." the Delightful Boys pointed out, "Starting with the youngest infected girls."

"Hey, what's going on?!" Sonya shouted from inside the closet, "Lemme out! I DON'T LIKE THE DARK!"

"Apparently," the Delightful Boys commented, "She's cured. We must warn you, however - the rest of the fangirls will be even crazier before they're completely cured, so we must be careful."

The Delightful Boys let Sonya out of the closet. She looked around, and noticed the boys were all cured.

"If you're all better..." she began, "Then that means..." Sonya burst into laughter, to the embarassment of the boys.

The group was heading downstairs, down to the basement, which, the Delightfuls had assured the others, was the safest place in the entire mansion.

"The door's too thick for any fangirl to break down," the Delightfuls mentioned, "And there are no windows."

"Is it d-dark?" Sonya asked, upon hearing about the lack of windows.

"Not if you turn on the lights." the Delightful Boys answered.

Eventually, they reached the basement, and hurried inside. Before he could get in, however, Tommy heard footsteps approaching.

"Fangirls!" he shouted, and jumped into the basement, locking the door.

[Celra]

"What are we going to do numbuh 1?" Numbuh 2 asked

"Well numbuh 2 we need to make this place as comfortable as possible because were going to be here awhile" Numbuh 1 replied


"That is easy we keep mattresses (sp?) Down here along with blankets and pillows and some cannned food and water" The delightful boys told them

"But we only have 3 mattresses" (Sp?) The delightful boys said

"Well since sonya is the only girl here she should get a mattress (Sp?) to herself" Maurice said

"Thanks so whos the best kisser boys?" Sonya asked

"Not tommy" Chad told her

"Hey Kids next dumb we found box springs in here we can now make 3 beds" The delightfuls told them

"So Um......I know this is going to sound wrong but were going to have to share these KING SIZED BEDS i mean no one wants to sleep on the floor so who is sleeping with who?" Numbuh 4 asked

At this point the delightful boys were setting up the other 2 beds,Sonyas was already made and was agreed she would get her own bed because was the only girl she crawled under the covers and looked at them and started laughing VERY HARD.

"This is going to be a long night...so lets decide who goes where" Numbuh 1 said.

"Numbuh 1 are we going to have to squeeze people in these beds?" Numbuh 4 asked

"Not us we have one for the 3 of us" The delightful children said

"Yep numbuh 1 this is going to be a long night" Chad agreed

"So whos going where?" Numbuh 2 asked

It was midnight, and four hours had passed since Lee had been kissed. Despite having to work together with the rest of the boys, the Delightfuls took a bed for themselves. Chad and Maurice had found an old couch in one of the corners of the room, and both were sleeping on it. The rest of the boys were sleeping on the remaining bed. Although a light had been left on for her, to help her relax, Sonya couldn't sleep. She was too nervous about the whole situation. Occasionally, she would hear footsteps near the door, and would get scared, despite having been told that she and the boys were safe.

"I hope that the kiss worked." Sonya worried, even though she herself was proof that it had worked. The thoughts that had filled her head when the virus took over were now completely gone.

Suddenly, she heard a thud. The thud almost woke the boys up, but they simply turned over in their sleep.

The thud reappeared, and again, until it had formed a rhythm of sort. Sonya saw the door shake with each thud, with was accompanied by the sound of something cutting into it. Some of the boys simply took their pillows and covered their ears.

Finally, the blade of an ax burst through the wood of the door. Sonya screamed, and the boys woke up. The ax kept cutting through the door, until finally, someone's head stuck through the hole.

"HEEEEEEERE'S ABBY!" shouted the crazed, still-infected Numbuh Five.

"She must've been sent by the fangirls to get us!" Chad shouted.

Just as he said this, the crazed look disappeared from Numbuh Five's eyes.

"Whuh..." she began, "What happened? And what is Numbuh Five doin' with an ax?"

"Numbuh Five?" said a voice outside of the door, "What's going on? Where are we?"

"Seems she wasn't alone..." Maurice commented.

Numbuh Five entered the room, followed by a no-longer-infected Numbuh Three.

"Great!" the Delightful Boys sighed, "Now the only thing keeping the fangirls out is broken! Just great!"

"You got any wood down here?" Numbuh Two asked, "And a hammer and nails?"

"Yeah, in the closet over there," The Delightfuls replied, "In case...something...like this...happens..." The Delightful Boys realized they had panicked too soon.

"I'll fix the door." Numbuh Two announced, and got off the bed.

"So...what's going on?" Numbuh Three asked.

"Sit down." Tommy told them, "It's a long story..."

[Celra]

"Ok numbuh's 3 and 5 you were turned into crazy fangirls and were basically in a nice way to put it trying to seduce us" Numbuh 4 told them

"Well girls im really sorry to say this but it would be safer if you went to moonbase to get checked out we would send sonya but she's to small to make it on her own so numbuh's 3 and 5 go to the moonbase get any other girls who seem to be snapped out of it and take them to the moonbase and STAY THERE! until we know its safe we know sonya is permantally cured but were not sure about you 2 so to the moonbase" Numbuh 1 ordered

"Ok numbuh 1 we'll go to the moonbase actually it looks like it may be better up there" Numbuh 5 said.

"I guess we can take him! call ya when we get there" Numbuh 3 said taking lee with them

"Ok numbuh 3 and 5 i fixed the door and made it metal from inside to out......dont ask im putting this on lockdown so no one can get in or out until at least 3 days" Numbuh 2 said


So its now around 1:30 am the boys went back to sleep and she had already gotten a call from the girls at moonbase saying she was cured and couldent catch it again but to stay with the boys,Sonya felt a little safer now knowing that they were on lockdown and no one could get in or out,Sonya still couldent sleep normally she would go see one of the girls in her sector and sleep on the floor of there room cause she never liked sleeping alone she knew she wasent going to get any sleep unless someone was sleeping in the same bed as her

"Should i ask one of them not tommy because he is to close to my age" Sonya told herself

"Great now i have to go to the bathroom i definatly need someone" Sonya told herself

Sonya looked around. No bathroom in sight.

"They put mattresses, canned food and water, blankets, pillows, and even a couch down here," she muttered, "But didn't even bother to put in a bathroom?!"

Sonya tapped Numbuh One's shoulder. He was a leader, so maybe he could help her.

"Numbuh One..." she whispered, "I gotta use the bathroom..."

"Then go already..." he muttered.

"But there's no bathroom down here!"

Numbuh One opened his eyes and stared at Sonya.

"You mean to tell me that they have everything but a toilet down here?" he asked.

Sonya nodded.

Numbuh One got up and looked around the room. Suddenly, he seemed to get an idea. Numbuh One headed for the door, and rummaged through the tools Numbuh Two had been using, getting out a hammer, and grabbed a nearby shovel. Then, he walked over to a corner of the basement and pried up a few floorboards.

"Ohhh, I get it!" Sonya said.

The noise woke the Delightful Boys up, who were shocked to see someone making a hole in their floor.

"What are you doing, Nigel?" they asked.

"I needed to use a bathroom..." Sonya explained. Numbuh One had dug a hole now, and was placing an old, empty bookcase in front of it.

"You WILL fix it all back up, right?" the Delightful Children asked.

"It will all be back to normal after this is over.." Numbuh One replied, taking a piece of paper and writing the word "Bathroom" on it, "And I assume our rivalry will be, too." He put the paper on one of the shelves, and went back to bed.

Sonya was still having a rough night. Finally, she got up, and used all of her strength to push the bed a little closer to the boys. Even from inside the windowless basement, she could hear thunder outside. Finally, she dozed off.

Numbuh One had dozed off, too, but his sleep was interrupted by a call on his communicator.

"Attention!" shouted a voice on the other end. Numbuh One turned down the volume and listened.

"This is the Kids Next Door Moonbase!" the voice (who Numbuh One now recognized as Numbuh 86), "Is anyone there?"

"This is Numbuh One, leader of Sector V." Numbuh One replied, sensing the urgency in Numbuh 86's voice.

"We just found out that the infected teen fangirls are recovering slower than any victim under 13." Numbuh 86 informed them, "In fact, we sent some surveillance cameras down to your sector, and they appear to be planning one last attempt to kidnap you and the rest of the boys. And...well...there's more bad news."

"What could be worse than that?"

"They're being lead by a certain former operative...does the codename 'Numbuh 11' ring a bell?"

"You mean..."

"Yes. I have to go now and get more information...not to mention some more hot chocolate so I can stay up late enough..."

Numbuh One turned off his communicator. He knew who this former "Numbuh 11" was. She was a traitor even before Chad had turned 13. She was Cree Lincoln, perhaps the toughest of the Teen Ninjas.
