Chobits is seriously cute. Plus it's a really fun art style to experiment with! Anyways, I've been told the anime doesn't follow as close as most would. If you are not reading Death Note - seriously, go read it. I have yet to meet a person who has read it who dislikes it (I have one friend who refuses to read it because something bad happened to her favorite character, but up until that point, she was obsessive about it..) Chobits and Death Note = <3 Yeah, the anime series changed up alot. For instance they changed Plum's name to Sumomo (still don't know why) And as for Death Note LIGHT ISH MINE!!!! =D I'm three volumes behind but that's because my evil cousin refuses to send me down my copy of vol6 that i left in his car only cause I made fun of him when he turned 30 D=< I refuse to collect the rest until he gives me back volume 6!!! But I know what happens to said character L and it devistated my friend too. . . o_o *laughs* I'm going with some friends to anime con..I'm going to dress as Misa Misa for one of the days!! (another day I'm doing Ino from Naruto, Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z...and maybe Mako from Nerima Daikon Brothers) Actually, I don't like the character who died. About Sumomo - wasn't that her original Japanese name? Mangas sometimes change it (for example, Case Closed's manga was originally called Detective Conan, but they changed it) |

My dad got me into some old anime from the 70s that he watched when he was a kid. My favs are Gotchaman and Star Blazers. If you've never seen Star Blazers before, you've got to check it out, NOW!!!!!!!!!..... please.  |

Yeah, the DVDs are getting harder to find in stores. But, starblazers.com always has them, or you can try Ebay if you want to get them cheaper.

COOL, I'm not the only one here who has heard of Star Blazers! ;D You're not the only one here who has heard of Gatchaman either. But yeah... back in the day I used to be a Leiji Matsumoto nut, and LM did some work on Star Blazers... but I never got to see it. (However, if you can ever rent the movie "Galaxy Express 999: The Signature Edition", DO SO!) |

My absolute favorite is Mahou Sensei Negima. The original manga much moreso than the two animes and the remake manga. ;D
Also... Ouran High School Host Club, Eerie Queerie, Fruits Basket, Digimon (01 and 02, please), Ichigo Mashimaro (or "Strawberry Marshmallow"), Azumanga Daioh, Love Hina, Pani Poni Dash and Sailor Moon. ^_^

Except the lady in question is a girl who'd rather watch slasher movies, play with her scary anatomical models, and plot how to kill the main bishie. |

Wallflower? I read that one! I only read the first two volumes, thouh, then went back to buy the third (I'd borrowed the first two from a friend who moved away), and I couldn't remember the title. I need to go look for that, next time I'm in a book store.
