Hi! Is there anyone here who plays on some sort of a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) here? Just aking... I played lots of MMORPGs since I was 9... I got a lot of unused accounts because I always forget my password and I got hacked once ... how sad... but as for now, I'm currently playing Ragnarok Online! My character's currently a knight ;D I'm planning to create an acolyte sort of character now!

Not really. A player can only get to level 20 in terms of skills, and the game is more story-based. There are 8 professions, depending on which version you play (and you can take the characters into other games once you reach a certain point). You learn skills along the way, and can only take 8 skills with you. The trick is to choose your skills and arrange your attribute points in order to make a specific build.
Example: I have a Mesmer/Necromancer with a Domination build, called a Dominatrix (no jokes, please). She uses Domination magic (Mesmers have Domination, Illusion, and Inspiration, which can do different things). Domination affects the foes, usually by casting a spell so that whatever aciton they take hurts them. Secondarily, she uses Blood magic (Necro secondary profession) to steal health and energy from the foe and heal herself. The skills can build on the others and make a killer combo no matter what build you choose.
I also have a monk, but she's only got Healing spells. But I'm a helluva healer.
Meanwhile, the skills each have their own cast times, usually less than a second, and recharge times (how long before you can cast it again). To use a skill, it costs Energy, which slowly builds as you play, so if you run out, you just wait and you'll have more. Same with Health energy. After a battle, just wait and your health will recharge, though once you're a high level, you'll want healing spells to quicken the increase.

Neat game! It resembles Ragnarok but with a twist! I'll try to play it if I can find an installer... It really sounds cool!

It's true. The game itself is $50 if you get the most recent one. I think Prophecies (the first, and with only 6 professions, and non-stellar graphics) is 30 these days. I just made a Necro/Mesmer for that, since I still like playing it.
I love it when someone makes an Elementalist/Monk. Then they're E/Mo. XD

Too bad I didn't mention it before. You might've gotten one for Christmas. XD
There isn't much in terms of gore. No blood or falling heads or anything. Some of the female outfits are a little skimpy, but I think they've gotten rid of the tatoo armor and scar armor, so nothing very trashy. Not compared to a lot of other games.
And, the really fun part, you can choose different styles of armor for your character. In Factions, the most recent one I have, the strongest armor has 3 different styles. Then you can buy dye for it. My Monk is in Blue, the Mesmer is in Red, my Necro is also in red, and I think my Warrior will be in Blue later on. Maybe green.

Don't worry, my birthday's coming! I'll try to mention it to my folks! >.<
Wow! It's really a neat game! You can customize your armor and stuff! Neat!

Eh, to a point. You CAN mix and match styles of armor.
Of course, it's more fun to get salvage drops. That's like armor that you can salvage for armor materials. You can buy stuff, of course, but it's always a good idea to hoard whatever materials you'll need later. Some professions don't need certain things for armor. Like, my Mesmer uses Cloth and sometimes fur or leather. Warriors need Iron Ingots. Usually it's one type of common material, and one type of Rare materials. The amounts vary.
Green drops are the best, since you can sell those for buku bucks.

What are buku bucks, anyway? Another type of armor?
