So! The new eps were absolutely brilliant...lol @ Archive. I was cracking up so hard. And as for Slumber....shame Numbuh 3 didn't answer the question...bleah >.< And as for Numbuh 23...not to brag or anything but I think she has definite Numbuh 13 undertones ^-^

ARCHIVE - wow. i thought the matrix references in UTOPIA were obvious. but this goes beyond reference- this is flat out homage. Either Tom or Mo really, really like the animatrix. plus, numbuh one's freak out at the end was so film-studenty. hahahaah. and two's oblivious joy at the robot wars... all very cool. liked it a lot.
SLUMBER - wow. this was a cool episode. there was a lot of people in drag - four, chad, the football players... and why did four keep his "disguise" after he was found out? eeehhh? and the whole 12/86 thing? she betrayed her and the little background w/broken hearts? totally shipping 12+86 now.
rainbow monkeys.... uhg. they're not even that cute, is the thing.
i'm thinking numbuh 23 has more tones of the "hottopicsue" that i've seen a few of in the fandom.

Have I ever mentioned that 86 is my favorite character? Because she is. XD For one thing, the first few minutes were full of crazy 4/86 hints "Oh! Pick me!" Why would 4 want so badly to go on the mission, eh? EH? XD And I felt so bad for 86 and her lack of friends... awww... I love the way she's turning for an evil character to a nice character -- just compare FUGITITVE to END to SLUMBER! And, it was just so cute that Three wanted to be 86's friend in the end. >.<
On the other hand, more and more KND agents are deserting for Cree's side, aren't they? I wonder what this is leading to, but it certainly means that sooner or later, its going to be two armies -- the KND agents and the ex-KND agents, fighting eachother. This is surely leading up to something, and I'm starting to get the feeling that this is on purpose. In fact, this entire episode reminds me why I love KND -- not only is it funny and cute, but it ISN'T episodic, there's lots of plot continuity, in this episode especially: Chad, Cree, Battle Ready Armor, etc. And, uh, 86 is getting cooler and cooler. Is it just me, or is she getting more powerful in the KND? We haven't seen 362 at all, and suddenly 86 has acsess to people and secret thingies and stuff. >.> Maybe with all these important KND people leaving, she's getting their old jobs...
In any case, this is so far my favorite episode EVER, counting season one and two. 10/10 for me. XD
(And, uh, did I see Ash from Pokemon in the audience of kids in ARCHIVE? I thought I did...)

Sadly missed about 3/4 of A.R.C.H.I.V.E., so I'll have to catch it at the re-airing. But S.L.U.M.B.E.R... dang, they had me all liking Numbuh 12 and then they go and make her turn traitor! Those darn writers!
On the other hand, I'm becoming a bigger fan of Numbuh 86. I'm thinking that 362 has either been decommissioned and 86 is the new leader of KND, or else 362 is off on another top secret mission and 86 is interim leader in her absence.

ARCHIVE was okay, but SLUMBER. Now that is very good stuff! My take, a 9/10, it would be 10 if ARCHIVE was little more decent.
Was it me, or did I see a kid that looked like Ash ,from Pokemon, in ARCHIVE?

well, then - how much of the stuff One was ranting about in ARCHIVE was true? i very much doubt that allll of it is true, espeically as the kids grow up. plus, as One (like all children) would have no reason to remember all that stuff, i think a significant portion comes right out of his head.
maybe it's just the school = brainwashing part? that adults use to serve children? dunno...
rewatched the epps on tivo. maaan - they stole entire parts from the animatrix. i'm gonna get some screenies to compare.
of course, as always, any of you guys want specific screens from either ep?

ARCHIVE: I was a bet confused with this episode. I did laugh when I saw that Ash look-a-like, but could Numbuh One's story be true? SLUMBER: I liked this one a bet more. We've learned some more things about Numbuh 86. I kinda feel sorry for her to have lack of friends and I was a bet surprised to she her as a Rainbow Monkey fan too. Heh... And not only this episode was cute, it had some action too! And of course, more 3/4 proof.... and it seems that 3/4 fans are already taking notice of this.... and me. |

And when she got all sad when Numbuh Three asked why she didn't invite her usual friends. I wonder if she was thinking just how mean she can be, and that eventually led to inviting KND Operatives instead of friends. I never would've thought she was as into RMs as Numbuh Three. And when she skipping and sing the RM theme, that was the cutest thing ever  And 86 doesn't have to worry about having friends. She's got one right here |

One thing they didn't mention in ARCHIEVE was how Father got his powers. I think that Widelstien, (Hope I spelled that right ) is Father, so we did get to see what he looked like. And I was hoping they would tell us were the DC came from as well, since them and Father go together. |
