Or any of the infinity series for that matter.
I haven't played any of these games, but I've seen the opening to Never17 (my favourite) and one of the bad ending scenarios for it, along with a few music videos on YouTube, and almost all of the opening to Never7.
Anyone else played/heard of these games?

Infinity, this was me reading your post:
*stare*....*10 seconds of silence* ..... *finally gets it*
*spits out soda*
Even though it was just a silly pun, it made me laugh for some reason. Perhaps cause it took me awhile to get it.
Anywho, sorry, haven't heard of the game. What platform is it on?

Good grief. I mean, I thought no game was too esoteric for me -- that there's basically nothing I haven't at least heard of on some news site or other. I was wrong. I finally had to summon the overwhelming power of Wikipedia which knows all things, past present and future. Heh. I wonder what Borges would have thought. The Book Of Sand made flesh? Anyhoo, the game is a visual romance novel (a style, I hear, is passing popular in The Land Of The Rising Fun) on the PS2. I haven't played it I don't think it likely. Not my cup of tea. Not my cup of anything, for that matter. However, if this syle of mixed interaction and reading strikes your fancy (and, really, I'd all for any game that promotes story as a prominent aspect of its experience) I'd suggest a really old school variant: Interactive Fiction. Amazingly enough, you can find some trully spectacular writing out there and all these games are: 1) Small 2) Free 3) Playable on just about anything. Even mobile phones, of all things. @re: Infinity

@ff-
Ohh, so that's what it is. I've heard of games like that before, but I haven't played them cause they aren't in the US, really. And imports don't work because I don't speak Japanese... so yeah.
