You mean the final battle on top of the turret? What part are you having trouble with? I always had trouble with the second part. She kept knocking me off the tower and killing me.

If you position yourself right behind a turret, she can't hit you with her fireballs.
What part of the battle are you stuck at?

...Link and Zelda? Aren't we talking about Banjo-Kazooie?
It's possible to beat the second phase. You have to be quick with jumping on top and shooting her with eggs at the end of the phase.
Phase five is kind of hard, as well.

something romantic happens between link and zelda! No. The only serious (non-2d) Zelda game that hints to a romance between them is Wind Waker.

(Shoots Iguana for not considering 2D games to be serious) Oops. Sorry. My finger slipped.
ILuvWally, I know. I've beaten the game too many times to count. But not recently. Have you seen the secrets ending?

Okay, I'll describe the ending of Banjo-Kazooie.
After you actiavte all the Jinjos, the Jinjonater shows up. Activiate him, and he'll start attacking Grunty mercilessly. Just as she's about to fall off the tower, she shoots a green fireball at Banjo and Kazooie, but it misses. Then she falls, followed by some rocks from the tower. She falls into the ground, making a Gruntilda shaped hole, and a rock falls on top of her. Then Klungo shows up and tries to get it off her.
Meanwhile, Banjo, Kazooie, Bottles and Tooty are relaxing at a random beach somewhere. They talk for a bit, then you get to see the character parade. Then Mumbo falls out of a palm tree. He says he has some secrets for you. If you didn't get all the Jiggies, he refuses to show it to you, and runs off after a young woman in a bikini.
If you did get all the Jiggies, Mumbo shows you some moving photos of Banjo getting secrets. There's the Pink Egg on Sharkfood Island in Treasure Trove Cove, the Ice Key in Wozza's cave in Freezeezy Peak, and the Blue Egg inside an unopenable door in Gobi's Valley. Then he says that you can't get the secrets until Banjo-Tooie. Cue wild speculation among the fans.
Yes, I have played Banjo-Tooie. I was one of the wildly speculating fans who couldn't wait until BT's release.

Favorite gaming series of all time is Legend of Zelda, and I cannot for the life of me decide if I like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, or Wind Waker the best. Besides Zelda, I like a lot of Mario games especially Mario Parties 1-3 (Gamecube MPs all suck), Mario Kart (all), super Mario Bros. 3, Yoshi Island and Story, and Super Mario RPG. Both Kingdom Hearts games rock, and I can't wait for the next one (I'm pretty sure there's another one coming...). Chrono Trigger and Cross have some of the best storylines and most memorable characters ever and rank right after the Zelda series. Legend of Mana was super cool (haven't played Secret)- I love the event-based system and the multiple storylines. I haven't played many Final Fantasy games, but I've watched my cousin play at least half of them. Jak and Daxter and Jak 2 were both really cool, and we're waiting to get Jak 3. Okage: Shadow King was really cool and funny, but didn't get a lot of spotlight, I don't think. Finally (whoa, long list!), Star Tropics and Zoda's Revenge were two of the best NES games of all time.
Okay, I'm done... I think...
