That's right the fun and popular Mystery Dungeon Blue rescue team and Red Rescue team games are being continued in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 This time both being for the DS and including Diamond and Pearl Pokemon like Piplup and Chimchar!

Two new games are called:

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Time Exploration Team

and

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Darkness exploration Team

Currently the main page on Serebii has some info on the games, too. It seems the new PMD game will focus on exploration, treasure-hunting, and "hunt[ing] down suspects and criminals" this time around, rather than rescues. I personally find this more interesting, although they could have done something different with the gameplay. The graphics are pretty much the same, including the sprites (guess they didnt' feel like remaking 400+ sprites) and layout, and, judging from the screenshots, the dungeons are the same, too. So I guess this means they, too, will be random. But that's Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series for ya (which all featured randomized dungeons). Too bad...
