Could I be more specific. What is the most difficult boss you have ever faced!

3). Lucifer/Luther - Star Ocean 3
Even at level 80 he was still annoying as crud. Even when my Mythril Sword had a +2500 Atk bonus.

2). Every boss - Galerians PSX
The game is just hard period!

1). Sameal/Alessa/Cheryl Fusion - Silent Hill
Not particularly hard... just annoying. It can kill you in two hits. Great game though!

Stomach Parasite in Kindom Hearts

Malificent Dragon in Kindom Hearts

Krian (Gaint Robot) in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade game)

The second Wizpig race in Diddy Kong Racing. I could never beat him, and I'd done everything else, including unlock TT, which is really hard.

Wizpig is the devil. He must be. The music is good, though.

The most difficult, Sepiroth ... but NOT the one from Final fantasy VII. The Sepiroth of the Platinum Cup in Kingdom Heart I spent almost 1 week to defeted that guy.

Abyssion in Tales of Symphonia was also difficult. Harder than Mithos, actually. A lot harder. I lost five grade beating Abyssion. Grade is a percentage, either positive or negative, which is given out based on how well you fight. It can be used to buy certain things. Five is the maximum you can lose on your first playthrough.

sepiroth in kingdom hearts...if you do alot of stuff, you can fight him in the arena.

One of the most hardest bosses I ever faced was Mother Brain from Metroid.

Yea, Mother Brain is difficult the first time. But she gets easier with practice. I can now beat her while only losing two energy tanks worth of life.

Let's see....

Odin in FFIV. I tried him recently, and for the life of me can't see how I'm supposed to defeat him. Fortunately he's an optional boss.

Smirk in Bionic Commando for the NES. This boss is tough specifically because you only get one shot at him--you have to time your gun just right to hit him as you jump down. You miss, you die. Period.

It's been a long time since I played Friday the 13th for NES, but I remember Jason Vorhees was a tough sucker if you weren't blatantly cheating (but considering the movies this was based on, maybe I shouldn't be surprised).

The Yellow Devil in the original Mega Man. Insane. Most of the final bosses in that game were, actually.

Any time you had to fight without rings in the older Sonic the Hedgehog games were pretty intimidating.
