I'm not sure this thread will fit in the category, but it will do. If you want to move this thread into real life, I don't mind.
What's your console war story here?
I'll tell you my story,
One time when I was at Wal-Mart, some kids think PS2 sucks so I said to them, "Xbox and Gamecube sucks!" So we got into a fight about consoles and then those kids are being bitches to me. Then later, some fugly girl wants me to leave the store so I offend her and she called the security and I ran away and then they caught me. So I got my stuff and I left the store and later that week, they let me go back to Wal-Mart and they remember me for what I did back then. Right now I gotta keep it cool before those kids come back again. So... they never come back, not in a single punch, not in a single push either. Maybe that's because their parents got them in trouble for what they did to me.
So I don't want any console wars anymore because it sucks so bad. I only want to play Xbox and PS2 because it's good for me. I'm having difficulties with the Cube.
Next year, I'm getting the PS3 and my brother might get the Xbox 360 if he wanted to. Think of the possibilities on those consoles. At the console war in E3, is a disgrace for all of us.

conzole wars r 4 pussys lol
Seriously, I don't mind discussion about a console's capabilities when compared to others, but rarely do I ever see respectful discussion about that. It always ends up being some sort of moronic console war in which fanboys for one console start yelling stupid stuff at the other fanboys. While these console wars are amusing to watch, just for the sheer idiocy of the participants involved, getting involved in them will only lower your intelligence.
I have a simple philosophy when it comes to video games: it is the games that matter, not the console. I have a GCN and a PS2, simply because games on both consoles interest me. I do not have an X-Box only because I see no games of interest.
So have I been in any console wars? Only years ago, when the N64 and PSX were the big consoles. Hell, DC might've been a part of it... though it might've been eariler than that. I was a N64 fangirl, and I would ramble in my 12 year old stupidity how the PSX was terrible, even though I haven't even PLAYED one. And I thought "sucks" was a bad word back then too. Not one of my proudest moments in life.

I agree. Arguing over things like video game systems is pretty silly. It's a sign of immaturity and poor manners. ... PS2 r0x ov3r XBlech & GameCrap!!!

omg snes rulz cuz its old scool!1!!!!elventy!!
Actually, I do like the SNES, being slightly too young to have played it when it came out. No, wait. I like some of the games on the SNES. There's a difference.
I used to be an anti-Playstation N64 fangirl, out of defence from everyone at school who thought it sucked. I grew out of it, though.

I don't have anything against any console, it just pisses me off when people say that the GameCube is a 'kiddy' console. Tits and gore aren't what makes a game good dammit.

I once played a game of Risk with five computer opponents, each one named after a video game system.
How's THAT for a Console War, eh?
