And if you heard the sound clip, neither Nigel or Lizzie wanted to break up: as Nigel wasn't expecting it and Lizzie was just tired of competing with KND and all the weird things that happen to her because of Nigel
And for you guys who can't see it:
Nigel: That was brilliant Lizzie! Distracting the computer with that speech!
Lizzie: It wasn't a speech Nigel! I meant every word.
Nigel: Wh-what?
Lizzie: look. You want to save the world from adult tyrrany and I want a boyfriend who's treehouse won't kill me! I'm tired of competing with the Kids Next Door. Children every where might need you but I-I don't. Not anymore. Goodbye Nigie.

I'm so jealous of you people who can listen to the break-up sound clip. My Windows Media Player won't allow me to play the clip. Mine didn't either. I actually had to go through heck and high water to find a decent player. Do a Google search for something called the "XP Codec Pack," that should solve your problem since it provides not only a new player (much better than XP's default Windows Media Player), but also all the codecs necessary to listen to pretty much anything. |

*listens to clip* Awww... that's really emotional. Before, I'd never really paid too much attention to what went on between Nigel and Lizzie, but now I feel nothing but sympathy for them and really hope they get back together. (Maybe that's the idea... maybe the creators want 1/Lizzie to get more support?)
WHOA, hang on. I'm most likely going crazy, but... you know how it was mentioned the splinter cell people want Lizzie out of the way? Is anyone else suspicious that the so-called 'splinter cell people' are actually a parody of us? You know... watching the KND from afar and wanting to control certain things that happen between them (a parody of fanfiction, of course) ... and with the whole thing about Lizzie being underrated for the first few seasons? Not to mention the wacky couples we've come up with (with the whole Nigel/Treehouse thing). These splinter cell people could turn out to be a bunch of over-excited fans who just so happen to be a little on the crazy side (no offense to anyone I promise).
Okay, probably not. But you never know what Sector CP are up to. *raises eyebrow*
Alright, another theory - the splinter cell is Sector CP! They've got the whole controlling thing going on. But the only thing is they wouldn't want to get rid of Lizzie.

I haven't listened to the clip yet, but where in the world did this clip come from? First I hear of SCIENCE/AMISH airing, now GIRLFRIEND, too? Are new episodes airing outside the US... again!?
Also, me sad at 1/Lizzie breaking up (for now). I really, really hope this doesn't leak to the haters...

However, after Marisa died, I stopped watching it. I always thought that Mischa Barton was very pretty, and that her and Ryan were really cute together. *laughs* I didn't realize how off topic we were until I finished typing that. XD Anyways, back to GIRLFRIEND. Ah, the haters. Well there'll probably be a big deal about it when it airs in America. What can you do, right? Whatever. I really hope we see Lizzie again. It wouldn't bug me if they didn't get back together (though Iwould be very sad for lil' Nigie). It would bug me, however, if Lizzie never appears in an episode again. Actually, if I had to choose a way for the two to break up, that clip would be it (not so obvious in my fic BREAK-UP, huh? *wink*). I always felt a little bad for Lizzie, having to compete with the KND. And poor Nigel had to juggle KND with her. It's kind of a relief for both of them, I suppose. Nonetheless, I like the pairing a lot. Lots of fun between the two. ^^ |
