I think it's a stretch to just assume they're married with no rings. And no, it doesn't, not necessarily. For example- I could be hugging a friend of mine's boyfriend for whatever reason, and my friend could (jokingly) say to me, "Hey, hug your own boyfriend!" even though I don't have one. My friend is merely pointing out that I need my own boyfriend to hug, not hers. She's speaking generally. I think I understand what you mean, Uni. Whether they were actually married or not, it doesn't point it out specifically, so there's not much of a significance to it, unlike Wally's and Kuki's, who hang the wedding rings and the specific declaration. You know where everyone looks at Abby in expectation that she will temporarily be leader of the team, she exclaims, "Don't look at me. Been there, done that, not doing it again."

Ohh... Okay, I missed that scene. Interesting. So Numbuh 1's bit was more about convincing her to become a leader again.
Not immensely dissapointed. I was hoping for something epic, like ZERO, but eh, you can't have everything. And in a way, it was Mr. Warburton giving his own personal goodbye to all his fans, showing everything they've made over the years, and telling the fans to still be kids under it all.

Yeah, I was sad too.....
Anything be better than this... weather everyone be in moon base and a while leeks and space sucks them out and kills them..... or... something >< It should have taken the way of all the other cartoon cartoons..... just stopped before it went to far.
And that bit I just posted about space sucking them up..... I'm just trying to vent my anger >> I am sad at this episode too.

Kuki says she had a husband and gestures to her right, where Wally is sitting. She's wearing a wedding ring, as is Wally is wearing a ring.
I dunno, I really liked this episode. I think it was perfect for what Mr. Warburton was trying to get across. It made me feel reminiscent and think of all the times Sector V had spent together.

You know what i was thinking? I could picture Warburton now becoming a fanfiction writer, not canon or anything but just a writer. He and the team seem to love this show more than life itself and I betcha after a couple of months are going to miss it incredibly. So if we find some amazingly fantastic fanfictions over on ff.net I wouldnt be surprised if it was the head hauncho himself, nothing amazing like a real story line, but just little tibits to keep himself occupied *and to get the nasty plot bunnies to go away!!*

YES! Now that I can agree with. The theme of this episode, of staying a kid, is really a great part of the essence of the KND series, of retaining the youthfulness and imagination of childhood even as you grow older. That's the whole thing with Nigel's speech, and that's why it's so crucial that we see at the end that not only Nigel, but also Abby, and probably most of Sector V, are still in the KND. They still haven't grown up.
Oh, and Mr. W as a Fanfic writer? AWESOME idea.

See, the Teen Titans kind tried to say that in their final episode (along with how things change and that we need to deal with these changes), but they did it in a smaller way. Mr. W made his message be known by using all the things we know and remember about the KND and putting it together in a string of memories for us to see and recognize and shout, "Oh, I remember that!" at. I think it was a great way to do end it. I'm a sucker for references to other episodes. -laugh- I can just SEE Mr. W being a fanfic writer. XD

I don't think Numbuh 2 and 5 are married, it was just a nod that Numbuh 2 is crazy as an old guy.
I wish that the old people still retained their children-like personalities like Numbuh 5 talking about herself in the 3rd person. Numbuh 3 being happy and chipper....but they did the same with Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 2.
I hope they do a spin-off like one when Cree was the leader of Sector V, or about Sector Z before they were delightfulized, or about the Galactic KND (maybe...)...

I Agree with the agreeing *lol*. This whole episode brought in new concepts *the father dragon thing, the GKND* all which of course go against the fabrics of reality. Mr. Warburton and his team pretty much wanted to tell us dont grow up. You will have to grow up and become an adult, yea, but so what, you can still remain a kid at heart. I mean c'mon look at him!

It was a good episode though I can't help but feel a bit disappointed at some parts, too:
The Good:
+ The whole "kid at heart" speech. + Nigel's line, "The Kids Next Door will NEVER end!" Nice double meaning there. + Cameos of almost every character in the series, including ones that mysteriously vanished for no reason. + Mrs. Uno was a KND, too. Ha. Who was she? The First Female something. + Kuki's line, "What, you think I'm an airhead or something?" (/paraphrased) + The Science Kid operative (I forget his Numbuh) thinking adulthood is a "disease."
The Bad:
- It was kinda slow. - Father's transformation was cool but out of nowhere, and he didn't even get a chance to attack. - The live actors. I wish they were animated. Though I liked Live-Action Abby. - What about Lizzie, Cree, Maurice, and Chad? I'm sure some other folks are missing, too.
The Neutral:
* Well, I guess the Galactic Kids Next Door is the "They" the characters kept talking about all through season six. I don't have any good or negative thoughts on the whole fighting adult tyranny through the universe thing. * CGI'd Father was kinda weird when I first saw it.
So, I assume from the last line in the episode, Nigel ended up returning and seeing his family and friends again after all.
But wait, Adult Abby called him at Moon Base. That would mean they're still with the Kids Next Door...(?) And does this mean Nigel is Supreme Commander?
EDIT: Oh, and...
Congratulations on a five year run, Codename: Kids Next Door. I bid thee farewell.
