Holy moly. Wow, this was very creepy. I just watched it for the first time. Usually, I don't get scared in movies, but this shook me up. I'll admit, it wasn't quite as good as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but it was still bone-tingling.
I'm just not fond of the fact that it took place around Christmas time. It's sad, really.

Christmas is the second most popular holiday for horror movies. I think of it as revenge for Christmas stuff going up at the same time as the Halloween stuff.
You take their part of the calander, we'll make you something to fear.

Heh. That sounds reasonable enough.
I think I've had a change of thought. Since I've got a pretty weak stomach, my first impression was that it was a very scary movie. After having watched it again, I'm not all that entertained. Heck, I even made my own comic relief when the girl's blood was splattered all over the window from the inside of the car. I said, "Dammit! Stupid ketchup bottle.. Got everything but my hot dog."
