Good evening.
With my TV/Video Capture card, I can now transfer from VHS to DVD. My brother recommended I use the YUY2 format at the highest resolution of 720 x 480. However, when I try that, I get an error message that "The video device is already in use", when I have no other video capture programs running. The error disappears when I use a resolution of 640 x 480 and lower. I'm using Movie Maker 2.1, which I assume is the latest. However, my brother tells me that there is an option to turn off the monitor or preview screen (the large one on the left), but I don't see any option anywhere that lets me do that.
No, I'm not using Windows Media Center.
Any suggestions?
