St Jimmy is pretty good, but I don't think it's the best on that album.
"Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. This is, I think, a song about the singer returning to his childhood home and finding it different. It sounds to me like it's after some sort of catastrophy has hit.
"Homecoming" by Green Day. Actually just the introduction, the first movement, and the fifth movements are the parts I like. The introduction reminds me of the final episode of the first series of the new Doctor Who, specifically the part that goes:
"Waste Another year flies by Waste A night or two You taught me how to live"
I really the tune of the chorusy bits of The Death of St Jimmy, but the whole thing is quite good. And in We're Coming Home Again, the homesickness is really apparent near the end. And I liked the guy yelling in the background and fading away. I think that represented what Jesus was like when he left Jingletown in Jesus of Suburbia. Anyway.
I also like "Private Universe" by Crowded House. But I'm not really sure what it's about. Someone's happy, innocent childhood?
Speaking of which, I've only heard it a couple of times, but I like the Logical Song, if that's what it's called. I mean the full one, not the remix. I'm pretty sure it's about someone loosing their childhood innocence.
I've got more, but I'll post them later.

Weirdly enough that part of "homecoming" is exactly the only one i can sing out loud without doing a false note 0.o Fave non-love song?...Almost all the Green Day ones, and that one called "All these things that I've done" by the Killers got stuck in my head. Don't ask which song I precisely like best...there are so many *music geek*

I listen to a lot of political music. There's this guy in my country who can immitate the President's voice perfectly. Or a parody of a mayor whose obsession is blocking wheels. And historical-legend ballads.

The Beatles do alot of love songs, but they do some non-love songs too. "Taxman" was a great one by the Beatles ;D . . Another great one was "I'm only Sleeping".
