I'm prone to agree with you; as I already mentioned I only like Survivor as a stupid little family thing, but I wish you had at least learned a little about reality shows without posting... call it a pet peeve, but I hate it when people make up things to use as examples. I apologize, I didn't mean to offend you . I just have a thing about reality shows. At the office where I used to work EVERYONE talked about American Idol, Survivor, or Joe Millionaire...topics like, "Who's he gonna pick?" Or "I wonder what she'll do next..." It totally dominated the workplace, to the point where I had to quit. I couldn't have a conversation with anyone. I just think there's more important issues to talk about once in awhile. JMO.

Does anyone watch reality shows like: Survivor, Fear Factor, CSI, Without a Trace etc.? How the HECK is CSI/Without A Trace a reality show? They're completely scripted! The characters are actors! They're not REAL investigators. A "reality show" is a show in which almost nothing is scripted and people often compete for a prize. I don't get how the heck CSI or Without A Trace can possibly fit into that category. Those two are "dramas", not "reality shows". Wait...B-movie actors from the 80's? Scripted? Where the heck is this coming from? The point about reality shows is that they're NOT scripted. It's like game shows. When you watch Jeopardy, do you think that EVERYTHING is done in advance, and that ALL the contestants already know what the questions are and what they'll give as their answers? No. Same with reality shows. They're not scripted. At least the good ones (i.e. Big Brother) aren't.

But I do want to add that Fear Factor is, to me, the best reality show. Did anyone see the maggots episode?

^^;; I find it funny that after denouncing all reality TV, you choose the worst, most disgusting show of them as your favorite.

Survivor Vanuatu doesnt look as interesting as All Stars was. It's probably gonna as boring as Pearl Islands was. *sigh* oh well. the only reason why im saying that is cuz there are no Hotties there. none of them can come near as hot as Boston Rob is. But if I have to root for someone I'll root for one of the guys cuz his name is Chad. hehe...

From: www.buzzwhack.comJust thought I'd through that out there. Reality shows are irritating. I've yet to see one I could stand. So, of course, my family loves them.

Now... for me it depends on what you mean by "Reality shows." It seems that most people here are talking about shows like Survivor. That type of show I hate.
However one of my favorite shows is Unsolved Mysteries, and I've heard people call that a reality show as well.

Well, today's the day SURVIVOR: Vanuatu comes on and if it actually ends up good(despite the fact that it could end up like Pearl Islands did...ugh. that was a HORRIBLE season), it could take over my beyond summer long KD obsession. But it all depends. I want Chad or Brook to win. Brook cuz hes from Boston, and Chad cuz his name's Chad. I also got news that SURVIVOR: All Stars is out on DVD already. Y'all know waht that means? ROB SCREENSHOTS FOR ME!!!! ;D ;D *sigh* He's soooooooooooooo HOT!! Yet so unliked...cept by me...*sigh* Rob... Man! Amber has to be so friggen LUCKY!! oh well...their cute together anyway... Well yeah. i just wanted to point those two things out so...yeah ^_^
