I hate reality shows, but for some reason I'm hooked on Survivor. It's the trashiest, worst, most cliched peice of garbage out there, and I have yet to miss an episode. Are you kidding me? Rob rocks! He's evil, but he's f-ing awesome anyway!

The only reality shows I watch is American Idol and Survivor. Blah I hate Rob, I DID like Lex until he got voted off last night, but I guess I will have to go back to Big Tom since his house is only a mile away from mine  . |

Im a Survivor and For Love or Money fan. For Love or Money 4 wasnt too good though since Rachel found love and I wanted her to walk away with NOTHING! *stupid biatch*
About Survivor, Amber Brkich is, like, my friggen ROLE MODEL!! Shes beautiful, shes considered the hottest Survivor Female ever, she won the million in S:AS, and shes engaged to THE HOTTEST man ALIVE!! I've already had problems with the people on an old Survivor board, please dont hate me for liking..no...practically LOVING Boston Rob. please dont.
i know this is an old thread but i dont care. I'm just bored here.
Oh, and I'm probably the only person who TRULY thinks this, but Rupert is cool and all, but he is just SO overrated.

Neh, I hate reality shows. The only ones I like and watch are Ellen(( *points at mom* BLAME HER. )), World's Funniest Animals...
And... what was it called again? World's Funniest Moments? *shrug*
And I'll sometimes watch "Who's Line Is It Anyway?"

I'm not sure if Fear Factor should really be considered a reality show. It seems to me that it's more of a game show. Granted, the characters have to go through a bunch of obstacles and possibly eat disgusting things instead of the usual "answer questions", but I still think it's a game show.
The only reality show I really like is Big Brother...I sort of like Survivor, but not enough to really watch it much. But I really DO like Big Brother...

I dislike the idea of exploiting people and there emotions (and sometimes their lives) for money and ratings. And I just think the shows are boring, anyway. The only "stuff happening to real people" show that I enjoy is Queer Eye *steals Jai*. And then I'm a totaly comedy nut, so I'll watch "Who's Line", "Last Comic Standing", and just about every stand up routine. Yeah, it's not really reality TV, but...whatever. |

Does anyone watch reality shows like: Survivor, Fear Factor, CSI, Without a Trace etc.? I watch Survivor and Fear Factor. Also for you Survivor All-Star fans, there's a true romance in it. It is Rob Mariano (Marquesas) and Amber Brkich(Australia). BLECH! If there's one thing that's really sad about this country today is that everyone is watching these "reality shows" and enjoying it! These are not reality shows, they are so obviously scripted and the "contestants" are really B-movie actors/actresses from the 80's that can't find work anymore. The producers come up with some of the cheesiest titles, too, like, "Who Wants To Marry My Millionaire Dog?" or "We'll pay you $1,000 to look like a Plastic Bimbo." It is all pure garbage, in my opinion. |

I'm prone to agree with you; as I already mentioned I only like Survivor as a stupid little family thing, but I wish you had at least learned a little about reality shows without posting... call it a pet peeve, but I hate it when people make up things to use as examples. ^^;; Examples: With only one or two exceptions, Reality TV is not populated by B list actors. While a lot of it IS planned and edited to imply things, it's not scripted, either. |
