A soft drink battlefield errupted a long time ago and is still covered in people who hate one of these sodas and loves the other. So what's your opinion? I think Pepsi is much better than Coke. Lots of people say there's barely any difference, but I can find a huge one. I agree with what Rotodisc said to me during a YIM chat session: "Pepsi is sweeter, and Coke makes me want to throw up more." When Mr. Warburton was asked "Coke or Pepsi?" He replied, "Black iced coffee!"

I prefer Coke myself, to me Pepsi tastes like all they did was just take Coke and dump sugar in it to make it taste a little different.

ok here are the pros of both drinks: Pepsi: sweeter
Coke: fizzier
there it is. i like cokes fiz better than just sweeter, because i like my soda that way. and if you happen to actually compare the marketing techniques of both drinks, you see that pepsi creates new flavors while pepsi pretty much copies exactly what coke does and slaps a new label on it(ex: vanilla coke/pepsi and diet lime coke/pepsi, also cherry coke/pepsi). ...but i'm not totally DEVOTED to my preference, the way some people i know are. i swear, if they were on a deserted island with nothing but a six-pack of pepsi, they'd die of thirst because "its not coke".

^ I know exactly what you mean.
And I don't judge Coke and Pepsi by their marketing techniques, how they made it, ect. I just care about how it tastes.

I like Coke better than Pepsi, I dont like sweet pop. Ditto. Sugar's fine and everything, but too much of it gives me a headache.

I really don't care, I can drink both.
The only way I can tell the differance is when coke gets warm, the after taste is a bit chalky. And Pepsi makes me burp more.
But I will say this Coka Cola, which is what you guys are talking about right? Cause they're both cokes, anyway They make way better merchandice. And they make my favorite soda Sprite.

The taste depends on ..... the country ;D If you check the coke or pepsi of other countries you'll see that taste very different bcz the ingredients are different, Mexican Coke is more sweet than american coke, Mexican Pepsi is sweet but not like Coke.
