Allrighty, this is a thread for all you anime fans out there (all you anime haters turn back now). This a thread that'll give all of you the chance to vote for your favorite anime hero(es). How it works is that we first nominate heroes to be included in our little poll/contest. Here's the list of anime heroes I've come up with so far.

Monkey D. Luffy, from One Piece
Kira Yamato, from Gundam SEED
Edward Elric, from Fullmetal Alchemist
Zatch Bell, from Zatch Bell
Spike Spiegel, from Cowboy Bebop
Jimmy Kudo/Conan Edogawa, from Case Closed
Astro Boy, from Astro Boy
James "Speed" Racer, from Speed Racer
Kimba, from Kimba the White Lion

Of course my anime knowledge is limited so these are only from the anime shows I've seen or heard about. You are all free to nominate more characters from different anime shows, just as long as they are protagonists (this is Battle of the Anime HEROES) and also be sure that if you do nominate someon that they are the main protagonist. Once the list is final there will be only one protagonist per show. Everyone has about 3 days to make their nominations, after which I will compose the final list.
Once the final list is made I will pit different anime heroes against each other and you all (as well as myself) will get to vote for your favorites and whoever gets the most votes at the end of 3 days moves on to the next round and so on, and so forth (it'll make more sense once we get to it).
But for now just post your nominations here on the thread within the next three days, and by then I should have the list. If you have any questions let me know. And have fun with it my fellow anime fanatics! ;D
