I was a fan of this before it was even a movie. I read the book, and I loved it a lot. I was excited when the movie came out this April, but I never got a chance to see it. I forgot a lot about it (except for 42, of course) until the DVD came out now, and I'm trying to buy it! Is anybody else a fan?

I read the first book and liked it, but I got bored with it by the time I tried to read the third and fourth books. I just couldn't bring myself to care about Arthur's love life.
I haven't seen the movie yet. My dad saw it and hated it. He was a big fan of the books.

I heard the radio show, watched the movie and read the book. They were downright awesome and funny.
To respect to the question about being a fan, like DUH! I love Hitchhiker's a LOT! Remember, DON'T PANIC.

That was hilarious!
I finally got the DVD. The number of changes from the book suprised me... I was disappointed when I heard DEEPthought's voice, mostly because I expected a man's voice. But I laughed when I saw when she was watching TV. Towels are very important for hitchhikers. I cracked up when I saw the 42 uses of towels on the website. The two best ones were: "Use a towel to wipe the tear when your divorce papers arrive." "Use a towel to wipe the long stream of tears when your divorce bill arrives."
