I just came up with an insane theory about Slade from Teen Titans. It's that Slade is actually Robin's father. The proof? The first thing that inspired me was looking at his shadowy face in the episode 'Apprentice'. He had messy hair like Robin did. In the first episode of Apprentice, Robin had a dream where he took Slade's mask off revealing himself in the costume. Slade spent most of the next Apprentice episode talking about how 'We're so much alike' and that 'I could be like a father to you.' When Slade was about to lose his apprentice, why didn't he just let him die? If Robin died, he'd have complete control over the city. In the episode 'The End' Part 2, Slade showed Robin the completely correct way to Raven. No double crossing or anything. They fought together very well, and he mentioned that they 'made a good team'. So there.

I don't think anybody's come up with this before. If it happens to be true, I'll feel special...

that's a good theory, www.titanstower.com however said that in the dc comics world, slade isn't related to robin what-so-ever and that his real name is slade wilson and that he is known to the titans as deathstroke. but that is a good theory though.

Well, the cartoon isn't the DC Universe so Delightfulologist's theory can still be possible.

Sorry, but I thought of it along time ago. same here. but in the beginning, i thought slade was batman but was proven wrong later. but i just recalled apprentice part 2 and i remember this is how it went: slade: perhaps, in time, you'll come to see me as a father robin: i already have a father an obvious reference to batman but you get my point

It's not proof that Robin is Dick Grayson, it's just the writers playing with your minds.
