Thought of one: when people, mostly on MSN, tend to add extra letters for no purpose. "Heyy bbe!" was a greeting i got from a (male) friend a few minutes ago, and I just for of blinked. "Yarhh tarrh " was his response when I asked him how he was. God it's so scary.

Extra letters on MSN? Yup. I know what you mean. It kind of bugs me too.
Random pet peeve: When there are absolutely no good movies in the theatre. *shrug* What? It's frustrating. Especially on a Friday night with nothing to do.

That's why they invented Netflix.
Also YouTube. I know of one person whom I subscribe to who posts full movies. Older movies, and really good ones. Wizard of Oz, Some Like It Hot, Psycho, Dial M for Murder...
I can link you if you want. ^^

Speaking of credit cards and establishing credit, Bank of America, along with every credit card company in the universe, are always trying to offer me a credit card.

Speaking of credit cards and establishing credit, Bank of America, along with every credit card company in the universe, are always trying to offer me a credit card. They do that with everyone. If you DO get one, do like the cliche says: only for emergencies. Actually, I'm planning ot get just one, then use it for small purchases. Like, 20 bucks a month and pay it as soon as the bill arrives.

I've heard that credit card companies are run like the Mafia.

Nah, organized crime is illegal. And there are laws against bill collectors harrassing a person.

Okay, I got some actual pet peeves this time.
- When fanfic summaries go, "a certain two-tailed fox," or "a certain boy in a red shirt and shades," or "a certain spikey-haired person with a large sword," or "a certain very obvious description of a very obvious character." See the running theme there? I see it ALL THE TIME. Saying "a certain so-and-so" doesn't make the summary better, in my opinion. In fact, it makes it kinda annoying, especially when it's extremely obvious who the character is just from the description alone. Why can't they just say their name? I mean, how many two-tailed foxes do you know, especially in the particular fandom?
- When people say "no offense," right before or after saying something that will obviously not cause a good reaction to the person they're supposedly not offending. (I think somebody said this one, but I could be wrong.)
- You know, it's okay to like both old/original stuff AND modern/remake stuff, but apparently not so in the gaming and cartoon communities. What with the way "old-schoolers" rant and froth in the mouth about people who play or like newer games more than (or at least as much as) older/classic games. Same goes for watching cartoons and stuff. I know, there are stupid new-schoolers, too, but I see annoyances more often from old-schoolers for some reason.
- Cartoon Network's "scheduling."
- Character-bashing/hating for the sole reason of pairings (i.e. because they get in the way of rivalling OTP, or because they get in the way of "bishie-luvsecks!!" or something).

In case nobody has noticed yet, I'm a movie fanatic. *shrug* Thanks again, Suki. To be honest, I've never dealt with that before. Or maybe I've just never really paid attention to it. But I can see how that can get frustrating.

I have a few, but here's just some off the top of my head.
-When people phone you, asks if you're busy and still keeps chatting with you even after you said you're busy (that happens to my friends a lot.)
-People criticizing things they've never tried.
-When people talk during the film (especially if they're asking questions like "Who's that guy? What's happening?" Just watch the movie to understand it!)
-When people leave their wind shield wipers on after it stopped raining. (Yes, yes I'm weird that way. Still, I never know why it bugs me, it just does.)

Here's another pet peeve for the thread:
What I don't understand is how some people are so emotionally invested in an internet forum that they still hate a particular person with a passion because he acted like a jerk, acted egotistical, or whatever so many damned years ago even though he/she has been gone for a while or has changed his/her behavior. If the person actually did some wrongdoing that was hurtful or was a troublemaker, then it's understandable to me.

That's definitely a pet peeve of mine: people who act like egotistical jerks and then say they've "turned around". IMHO, they might try and suppress that behavior for a while, but it almost always comes back. It's part of the person's makeup, and doesn't just go away magically.
People's basic natures don't change 99.9999999999999 percent of the time. Mine included.

I've got a few: - People who think that because you're a fan of Japanese Culture and Anime and such, that you're obviously a Weeaboo. (Yes, I know I call myself "Wapanese" sometimes, but I'm just making fun of myself. >>; - n00bs who think they're funny by posting so-called "Random" words. (Like "Llama", "Bob", and "lololololol")

And I have a problem with how "offensive" shows like South Park and Family Guy are being complained about even though they are funny.
And there are people complaining about the Guy From Boston (I'll post the link if you want it) just because he uses the f-word a little too much and how he talks in his rants.
