I still believe in Snape; i mean, it struck me that Dumbledore said 'Severus, please' before Snape showed the intention to kill Dumbledore, so I'm sure the latter was begging to be killed, not to live.

That's what I think. Regulus Black. My friend thinks that cup that Mundungus dropped in Hogsmeade was Hufflepuff's cup, but I don't know. It could be, but I'm not too sure.

Hmm. . .I never really thought about one of Mundugus's stolen goods being Hufflepuff's. I guess that's just me being so angry at the little hobo for stealing from Siri--I mean, Harry. Grr. . .
I was also mad at the fact that Dumbledore died for nothing. The Horcrux was fake x.x
But I guess it just kinda thickens the overall plot, huh?

Actually, I thought there were many parts of this book that were very un-Rowling-esque, especially the emphasis on romance. I mean, I love fluff as much as the next person, and I grinned uncontrollably on page 282, but HP is supposed to be about the magical world and the journey of a young wizard in the fight against a great evil! On the other hand, I was immensely pleased to find that it wasn't the angst-fest I expected after Sirius' death.

Harry's grown up since the last book.
Does anybody remember thte "heavy amulet" mentioned in Order of the Phoenix? When they're cleaning out Grimmauld Place? I think that was the Horcrux. Some people have been theorising that Harry, or at least his scar, is also a Horcrux.

I'm pretty sure,
100% sure that Harry will be in hogwarts for at least few months,
maybe he runs away,
like the weasley twins,
but I am 100% that Harry will at least will have to go to hogwarts unless there is something I skipped reading about you can skip you 7th year 'n' stuff,
I am 100% sure that Harry will go back to Hogwarts.....

I was hesistant to go into the Harry Potter fandom long before, and I've only seen the first two movies. After Half-Blood Prince came out and the fandom's reactions, I have finally decided not to step foot in there. |

yea when i was at a book stire who had a party to hand out books that were preordered it was packed. and news camara's were everywhere filimg the opening of the boxes and the books and the handing out..
hehe i had a hint when i read that harry had a "crush" on ginny.. i expected them to go out cause i dunno i worked it out.. and i was thinking"wht if harry went out with ginny?' and it happened.. snape bein the half blood prince and murdering dumble dore.. man now i really hate snape...

I think Snape is in Voldemort's side, there are many excuses he could use to avoid killing Dumbledore, why he didn't kill harry? Because Voldemor would be angry, the prophecy says one must kill the other. Well I liked the book  |

Well, she and some people at Mugglenet pretty much insulted Harry/Hermione fans for supporting it. The interviewers at Mugglenet (which is a very Ron/Hermione-biased site to begin with >.<) said we were "delusional," and that all of us hated Ron or something. And JKR laughed and agreed with them! So people got pissed and decided to "bash" JKR for not making H/Hr canon. Needless to say, as a H/Hr fan myself, I got offended, but I didn't go out saying how JKR sucks. She CREATED the series! Lately people have been a LOT better/tamer/smarter, thank God. The HP forums I go to aren't tolerating the JKR-bashing, and people that do it are getting banned. |
