I thought it was really sweet when Dumbledore said to Harry, "I am not worried, Harry. I'm with you."
Actually, my first thought was "OMG HARRY/DUMBLDORE!!1!!!", but that's only because I've been spending too much time on the internet.
Did anyone else notice Greyback the pedophile?

Yes! I'm such a loser, whenever they mentioned his liking to bite children, I thought, "Oh, my God! Someone call Elliot, Olivia, Munch, and Fin!"
But, they're not going back to Hogwarts??? That threw me for a loop! There's hope for books 8, 9, 10, etc. afterall!

what really surprised me was that draco didn't kill dumbledore like he was suppose to. that pretty much leads an open door to what's going to happen in book 7.

JKR said so on an interview.. cause after book 7 we will know all we need to about harry.. no prequels are needed

Well, Jk said that there will be a new DADA teacher, so they will probally go back to Hogwarts. Maybe. Personally, i think it was too obvius Dubledore was going to die... maybe it was just me. Probally.

No, if you read the book, he made it pretty clear that he's not going back, and I believe it. I think we'll probably still get information about what's happening there through connections with people like Ginny and the Order of the Phoenix, but I'm looking forward to seeing some more of the magical world outside Hogwarts, even if I'm going to miss the school. And we will indeed have a new DADA teacher because we have the information about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's "curse" on the position, never having a teacher hold the position more than a year at a time. Even now it's true because of Snape's running off- and he better not show his face in that school ever again!

Uh... I don't think that Snape is really a Death Eater. From the death, it sounds like he killed Dumbledore on Dumbledore's orders. Dumbledore would never plead for his life, especially after he said he was expendable only a chapter or two before.
I wasn't surprised that Draco couldn't kill. He's a bully, not a murderer. Dumbledore knew that too.

I'm not too surprised about Draco either, but I do think Snape is really a Death Eater. I didn't see Dumbledore as pleading for his life- I'm pretty sure he just wanted Snape to fix up an antidote for the stuff he drank back in the cavern. Either way I still have this small, muffled voice in the back of my head telling me Dumbledore's death was staged, in which case I'll believe once again that Snape is really a "good" guy. But until that little voice is ungagged, I'll probably continue to believe the worst of Snape.
