Yep, I watched this back when it was first coming out in Japan. ^^ Can't wait for the movie this summer. Ed and Hughes are my favorite characters... and I'm actually pulling out my Ed costume to cosplay this weekend at AnimeBoston. Yaaaay automail!

Yay, FMA! I started watching this when it first came out in Japan and I bought some manga/DVDs when I went to Japan last summer. I'm a fan of the Elric brothers (Al a little bit more than Ed), Hughes, and Mustang. The Homunculi are coolness, too. Greed rocks my socks. One of my best friends cosplayed as Ed at Otakon last year...I should cosplay as something from FMA, too. (I would do naruto, but everyone does naruto these days).

Oh. Em. Gee.
ILOVEFMAOMGOMGOMG!!!
I've only seen a few episodes, but I already love it! I love the Elrics (Ed a little more than Al), Winry Rockbell, and Roy Mustang.
I was thinking of making an Ed costume for AFO, but at JACON and MegaCon there were eleventy-kabillion Eds.

Oh, I absolutely LOVE this show! I've been a fan of it even before it premiered on Adult Swim! I've read, and continue to read the manga. Everything about this show is great; the animation, plot, theme, character development, etc.
I pretty much love all the characters, Ed, Al, Winry (the anime has really made me like her for some reason), Armstrong, Hughes, the Homunculi, Scar, Barry the Chopper, Hawkeye. All of them are great, but my fav is probably Mustang.
Oh, and everyone get ready for next weeks ep, 'cause it's a real tearjerker.

I've heard of it, mainly by going to the fanficrants community on LiveJournal. It's coming out here really soon, as in being advertised as coming soon. If it's not on Cartoon Network, I won't be able to see it though. I have no money to buy DVDs.
From fanficrants, I've discerned that the main characters are called Ed and Al, and are brothers. It is set in Medieval times. Ed and Al are the youngest alchemists either ever, currently, or in a long time. Not your Mary Sue. Ed transmuted or something, and he was out of action for some time.

That was the first time I wore my costume too. ^^ What did they look like? (Other than you know...... the usual blonde hair, red coat. XP) Also, FMA isn't set quite in medieval times, more like early 20th century/late 19th century Europe. ~Regan

She had a really nice outfit and a blonde wig...other than that I can think of no distinctions between her and the other billion Ed cosplayers. XD

I just saw the first four episodes on DVD. Ed's quite volatile, isn't he? I can't wait to see some more.
I cannot believe it was dubbed by FUNimation.

Oh yeah, Funimation did a real good job with this show. On another note, too bad we won't be seeing anymore new ones for a while, but I know it'll be worth the wait. Till then, I've still got to get the first volume of the FMA manga (I don't think I'll get the DVDs though)
