Anybody else a WWE fan here? Who are your favorite wrestlers? Currently, I like Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho. Not too pleased with the current product at the moment as Batista and Cena hold the top titles in the company, Edge is getting a mega-push, Matt Hardy, Molly Holly, and Rhyno are on the unemployment line, and there's another Diva Search in the wings.
On the positive side, they're starting to pay attention to the cruiserweights for once, as Vince just signed several guys from lucha, including Psicosis and Super Crazy, and the long-neglected tag ranks are getting a boost from La Resistance, the Bashams, Hurricane and Rosey (currently holding the straps), MNM, the Heartthrobs, and an eventual reunion of the Rockers (Marty Jannetty was signed to a long-term deal).
Any wrestling fans feel like discussing?

You like WWE too? I thought I was the only one who did. My favorite wrestlers are Undertaker,Kane,John Cena,Batista, and Heidenreich. Why do you not like the fact that Batista and John Cena have the WWE and The World Heavyweight title? Hey, are you going to watch RAW tonight? I hope Batista will except Triple H's challenge for the title in a HELL IN THE CELL match at Vengence winch is going to be here in Las Vegas! My dad got tickets. ;D

I see you like the Hosses.
Cena and Batista are simply not good enough. I don't hate Cena. I agree that he is charismatic and funny. But something about him is just lacking. Maybe it's the fact that I don't like rap that I can't really get into his character. Also, his in-ring skills, while definitely improved drastically since his debut, are not at the level needed to hold the top belt in the company. I know RVD was injured heading into Wrestlemania, but he was more experienced, more over, and just generally better, and deserved a title run first.
Blah-tista I have no hope for. When he first debuted I could see he was very limited. Fortunately, being around two greats in Flair and HHH and a future great in Orton during his time in Evolution was starting to rub off on him. Then he turned face, and it was all downhill when he had to carry himself. Notice how he sweats like a hog less than 3 minutes into a match? A World Champion has to have some semblance of endurance. Jericho so deserves another title reign, but it went to someone the fans didn't care about. This was like in 1994, when everyone was pulling for Bret Hart to regain the belt, but Lex Luger was shoved down our throats for months. The sooner HHH regains the title, the better. Hopefully he will do it at Vengeance. Yes, I am one of those people who likes HHH. As much as I'd like to see Christian get a spot as a top heel, I have to recognize Trips' incredible talent both in the ring and on the mic.
Sweet that you're going to Vengeance, tho. Are you planning to catch the ECW ppv as well?

Usually I only buy the Big Four (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series) due to the cost. From what I read, Judgement Day was really uneventful with no title changes and a cheap finish to the Eddie/Rey match.
A lot of people ride HHH for always getting the belt back, but personally I like these long, dynastic title reigns. It makes the strap worth something, rather than being bounced around every week to just about anyone. As a kid, I was also a major Hulk Hogan fan, though the same thing was happening with him, as he always got the title, but he had iconic status and the ability to have 20,000+ fans eating out of his hand.
For those who say HHH is only in this position because he's married to Vince's daughter, consider this: back in 96-97 when WCW Nitro was kicking Raw's ass in the ratings regularly, and raiding the WWF's talent, HHH could have easily jumped to WCW, especially because he was friends with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. He would have gotten more money, better storylines, and probably a spot in the original nWo. But instead he stayed on, basically working his way up as a jobber, paying his dues, and greatly improving his ring skills and his character. The only other people who have shown that level of loyalty are Taker and HBK.
There's talk that with the roster draft starting next week, HHH may move to Smackdown, and Kurt Angle will switch over to Raw.

Anybody can be drafted over to Smackdown or RAW. Heck it can even be the referee. Who do you think is going to win the Sharmell vs. Angle match? By the way how old are you?

I'm 22. Sharmell's probably going over thanks to interference from Booker. This angle is a strong candidate to win wrestlecrap.com's Gooker Award for worst storyline of the year, though. Other candidates so far are Edge and Lita's affair spilling over into storylines, Stuttering Matt Morgan, and the Ultimate Warrior's speech at UConn, though that may not be considered since it was "real life" and not an on-air storyline. I'll bet Christian goes over to Smackdown, he's been hinting at it for weeks. Tomko had better go with him, because God knows he'll never hack it on his own.
