For Those Who Like Good Cartoons...

I've just found online news reports confirming that the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from 1987 is going to come out on DVD. The first disc is going to include the entire first season of that show (which only consisted of five episodes because it started as a mini-series) plus four final-season episodes as a bonus.

Unfortunately I've heard no word yet on wether or not the rest of the old series is going to be released on DVD. Here's hoping.

I love TMNT when I was only 4 or 5 years old. I now watch the recent TMNT when I wish to look back at my childhood.

Eh. I dislike the new TMNT and prefer not to watch it, because I don't want it to become part of my "image" of TMNT. But when I was a kid I was into the old show... I even bought all the toys. I never did get a Turtle Van though -__- or a Technodrome for that matter.
