Can some of us please show some thought and restrain from using the board as an instant chat medium. Apart from being annoying (especially if you rely on the ''last 10 posts' function to save time when reviewing the updates of the day) it makes the star rating system totally worthless when folk are chalking up double-figure post counts in a single day. I don't mind being rated a Newbie because although I don't post much, at least I've got something half-sensible (and well-spelt) to contribute when I do.
Seriously guys, it's getting so bad that I might end up desperate enough to go back to reading the Acorn Cafe board (an ordeal equivalent to throwing yourself into a deep lake with weights tied round your ankles).
Don't make me that desperate, pleeeease!!

Okay I can see where you are getting at, cause yes I will admit me and some other people have been clogging up the boards, but just to let you know, before I started writing mindless stuff (lol) I wrote half-sensible posts too, and also made sure they were spelled correctly. Now I will say that some people (like me) are abusing the star rating system and for that I am sorry. I just wanted to make some friends on this board, so when these people started talking to me I just wanted to be nice and talk back and be friendly. We might have taken it too far, but we most of the time tried to stay to the topic. Anyways we found another way to communicate and I will speak for them that we are sorry for abusing the board and I promise (for me) that it won't happen again. As for the others I know they understand there mistake and will also try to be better at posting. But again, its not like we all are 30 and this is a board where only mature things can be written. Now I will say that me being 16 I should have been more responsible, but the others they weren't old enough, they just wanted to post fun things and have a wacky conversation. Though we all could have been better about it I think that since now we know how much trouble it caused we will try and reform from posting something mindless. |

Just a warning guys.... I've banned NuMbUhFoUrRoCkS for exessive posting. Now, I don't mind chatting. But if you're going to hold a conversation.... Mind E-mailing? Or an Instant Messenger? Try talking about topics too, not just saying "Hey another page is gone".

Try talking about topics too, not just saying "Hey another page is gone". Uh sorry about that, but we didn't think we could IM each other cause we didn't know that all of us had MSN Messenger, but now we do, so we won't be making any mindless posts anymore. Sorry for the trouble we have caused over the past few days, thanx for giving us another chance. |
