OK, here I go with some more 2/5 romance. I am a 1/5 person, but what the hec--
A gust of wind pirced Abigail's face like a dart. It was about 25 degree's out. She was wearing a giant coat buttoned all the way up to her chin, and 3 pairs of sweats. It was the snowiest day that had ever hit the town. Numbuh 5 was making her way back to the treehouse, but the wind was pulling her the other way. She was carrying a hat. The hat of a little girl who had been kidnapped. There had been a chain of kidanapping going on in the town, and Sector V wanted DNA of each kid. Numbuh 2 saw her from the treehouse, and ran to help her. When he opened the door, the wind sent him crashing into Abby like a bowling ball. He helped her up, mumbling a short apology. When they finally got back to the treehouse, fighting the wind the whole way, they collapsed inside. Tired and out of breath, the friends smiled at eachother. They pulled oneanother up, and walked up the stairs.
"I got the hat you asked for Numbuh 1," Numbuh 5 breathed. The wind had been hitting her very hard.
Numbuh 1 simply nodded at her, and then went on about what they were doing. There ultimate goal, was to gather the DNA of the kids who were taken, and see if there was anything in common between them. "And then, we can find out why this person would want the kids," finished Numbuh 1, who seemed 10 times more exited about the plan then the others.
Numbuh 5 didn't understand why they wanted to know why they were kidnapped, but she had never been one to dissobey orders. "Numbuh 1, are you sure that this is going to work? I mean, can we tell these kids personalities, just by their DNA?" she asked, avoiding asking why they wanted to know Why.
Numbuh 1 sighed and shook his head, in the prosses, asking himself the same question. He gave Numbuh 5 one final look, then walked away.
Numbuh 4 and 3 looked exausted. They had had to find all of the DNA the day before, which was even worse, so they went into their rooms to go to bed, leaving Numbuhs 2 and 5 alone.
Numbuh 5 looked at her friend, she had known him for years, and would know him for years to come. He looked back at her, and oddly, started to laugh.
"I'm sorry Numbuh 5. It's just that we did look pretty funny out there, staggering around," he giggled.
Numbuh 5's straight face turned into a smile, "And you knocked Numbuh 5 into the snow... the wind blew you!" she laughed. The two of them laughed for minutes, and upon realizing that it wasn't very funny, they stopped. Numbuh 5 thought to herself, that she could never laugh like that wit Numbuh 1, or 4, or 3... they would have took it offensivly.
Numbuh 2 wiped a laughing tear from his eye, and took a deep breath. "You tired?" he asked casually, "Cause I'm not,"
"Well, I probably won't be tired for another hour," replied Numbuh 5, and with that, a war begun. They spent so much time arguing about who could stay awake the longest, that they both fell asleep.
Numbuh 5 awoke on the red armchair, and looked around, not used to waking up there. Numbuh 2 woke up on the couch. They looked at eachother, and the war started again.
"I did stay up longer, I did!" Numbuh 2 argued.
Feeling that it was quite natural, Abby went and sat on the couch next to Numbuh Two. It took only a couple seconds for them both to realze, thst she had sat infront of his arm. She looked at his arm, that was now around her shoulder. Hoagie was frozen with embaressment, it was Numbuh 5's move. Numbuh 2 expected her to get up, but instead, she sat down more comfortably, in his arm.
Stunned that she was doing this, Numbuh 5 threw one last remark, "I stayed up longer Hoagie,"
