YOu showed it to me......it was disturbing.
I'm going to do Chapter 6.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nigel Uno lay in the mud, shivering, his arms throbbing. 'Come on, Nigel, you're better than this.' He thought to himself. 'What would the guys say?' The thought of Nigel's friends brought more tears to his eyes. If he didn't save them, who would? The robot in front of him wasn't going to move on its own accord, and he had to do something about it. He stood up. 'Maybe I could just run past it.' He thought. 'It should work.' A laser canon appeared on the robot, and Nigel knew he had to act fast. He gathered all his strength, and ran at the robot, getting ready to jump. But.......he found himself RUNNING RIGHT THROUGH IT. As he jumped, Nigel's face landed in the mud. He painfully pushed himself up with his arms, gasping. He stood up and stared at the patch of empty space where the robot used to be. Nigel raised his brow. 'This is getting too weird.' He thought. Then he started coughing. He as getting much too cold. He hadn't even put a coat on before he went out, and his clothes were soaked through. He ran to the delightful children's mansion, shaking uncontrollably with cold. He was halfway to the door when he collapsed.
"Okay, now Numbuh 5 is worried." Abigail said. "It's about time ya got realistic, Numbuh 5. 'E probably got electricitified by one of those robots." "Electricitified?" Hoagie said, his brow raised. "Numbuh 4, there's no way 'electricitified' is a word." "Who cares!" Walabee said, glaring at Hoagie. "Ya don' seem ta realize tha' Numbuh 1 is out there somewhere....in trouble!" "I care just as much as you do! You think I don't want to get out of here?" "Oh, so it's all abou' you, now is it? Ya don' care tha' Numbuh 1's--" "Hey, at least I don't use words like 'electricitified'!" "Look, ahm worried abou' 'im! AN' when ahm worried, ah say stupid things!" "You must be worried an awful lot then!" "Yeah? Well ah think ya--" "STOP IT!" Walabee and Hoagie turned, and, to teir surprise, they saw Kuki Sanban, standing angry with her eyes full of tears. "You both say you care about Numbuh 1, but you know he wouldn't like you fighting like that! If we really want to help him, we need to work together. Isn't that what Numbuh 1 always wants us to do?" Walabee and Hoagie looked at each other. It was true. Nigel had always encouraged teamwork. "We aren't going to get out of this if we keep snapping at each other. We have to be nice to each other, and figure something out together!" Abigail looked at Kuki and smiled, seeing a whole new side of her. She wasn't just a happy-go-lucky girl who was always in her own little world. She was insightful, and wise, and loyal untill the end. She was the only one who truly understood what teamwork meant. "Numbuh 3's righ', ya guys." said Abigail, still proud of Kuki. "We can thank of somethin' togethuh, can't we?" "Heck, yeah!" Hoagie said, beaming. "We'll show these guys who's boss, righ'?" Walabee said, waving his intimidating fist in the air. "We sure will, Numbuh 4! Now, kids next door---" "Wait, can ah say it?" said Walabee eagerly. The kids next door battle cry was usually something Nigel said before beginning a plan they had formed, and Walabee had always wanted to repeat it. "Sure, Numbuh 4." "KIDS NEXT DOOR, BATTLE STATIONS!" And Kuki, standing in the corner of the cage, smiled.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, the wise side of Kuki!
What do ya think of THIS loverly little piece o' work?

Ooooooh, is he? We just might find out in.......dadadaDA! Chapter 7!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nigel Uno lay on the muddy ground, only 20 inches from the delightful children's house. 20 inches from shelter. He had pushed himself to the limit, forced himself to run until he blacked out. Even in Nigel's sleep, he shivered. Even though he was unconscious, uncontrollable shaking came over him. It was just too much. He needed warmth, or he would die. He needed his team.
And they were coming.
Abigail stood on Hoagie's shoulders, as Walabee held him up, leaving Kuki standing at the top, clutching Abby's red cap in her trembling hands. She was so nervous about what the four of them were about to do. They had one chance at this, and if they failed, they had no hope of escaping. They had formed a plan where they stood on each other's shoulders, and hit a switch high up with Abby's hat, deactivating the cage. (The switch was stupidly labeled, so they weren't taking a random guess.) Everyone had insisted that Kuki throw the hat, because she convinced them to make a plan in the first place. If she missed, the hat would be gone and they would have no chance at all. "Ya ready, Kuki?" said a strained voice. Walabee, who was holding up Hoagie, was having a hard time, considering how heavy Hoagie was. Kuki swallowed hard. "Almost. I just need a little more time." she said, aiming through the bars of the cage. "Jus' take yer time, Numbuh 3. We don' want ya missin'." Abigail said. "Oh, and Numbuh 5? Thank for letting me use your hat. I know it must be really special to you and you must be very--" "Wrap it up, Kuki." Walabee said, struggling with Hoagie's weight. Kuki blushed. "Just thanks. All of you, thanks for listening to me." "Okay, serious pain now." Walabee said. The tone of his voice told Kuki that she had better hurry. She took aim, and slowly got her wrist into position. 'It'll be just like throwing a frisbee.' She thought. 'And I'm good at frisbee. When Wally and I play--' "AUGGGGH!!!!!!!" Kuki's thoughts were inturrupted when Walabee gave up and threw Hoagie off his shoulders. The sudden movement caused Abigail to fall, knocking Kuki over. She was so surprised.....that she dropped Abigail's hat a whole 2 metres from the cage. Hoagie slammed against the bars on the other side. "YOU IDIOT!" "YER HEAVY, NUMBUH 2!" "COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST WAITED A LITTLE LONGER!?" "NO! AHM GLAD AH GOT YA OFF, 'CAUSE AH WOULD'VE BROKEN MAH ARMS IF AH DIDN'!" "GUYS, SHUT UP!" Abigail's angry voice silenced the two operatives. "Ya'll started fightin' again, jus' when we almos' had it! We can try somethin' else, this ain't the end of thuh world!" "But Numbuh 5," said Kuki sadly, "We don't have anything else to throw." Numbuh 5 looked down at her shoes. Hoagie sat down again. And Walabee kicked a stuffed animal sitting against the bars of the cage. "MR. WUZZLEFUZZ!" Kuki screamed and picked up the stuffed animal. She shot an angry glance at Walabee and cradled the toy in her arms. "It's jus' a stupid stuffed animal.....we should be throwin' tha' thing ta thuh switch." Walabee mumbled. Kuki's eyes widened at his words. "That's it! We can throw Mr. Wuzzlefuzz!" "Nah, Numbuh 3. Tha' thang's yer friend. We can't do tha'." "No, but I want to, Numbuh 5! It's the only way!" "Alrigh', let's try it."
Meanwhile, Nigel shivered more still. His breathing became desperate and his eyes twitched with cold. His entire body temperature dropped dangerously low. Even in unconsciousness he could feel the horrible cold sinking in to him, and soaking everything it touched. He would have coughed, but no sound came through his blue shaking lips. Nigel Uno was dying.
Numbuhs 2-5 of sector V got into the position they were in before, this time with Walabee holding Kuki up, Abigail holding up Walabee, and Hoagie at the bottom. Kuki looked at her beloved stuffed animal and felt tears. "I love you, Mr. Wuzzlefuzz." she said to her friend as she held him tight. "I promise, I won't lose you forever. You're going to help us, okay?" The stuffed animal seemed to show understanding in its glossy, painted eyes. Kuki smiled. She squeezed her companion through the bars and almost dropped him. Her heart skipped a beat. Luckily, she caught him just before he fell. Then she got her wrist in position again, held her breath, and threw. The smiling, stuffed, purple mouse flew through the air. Kuki watched it, not daring to breathe. It flew across the room, and landed suddenly on a red switch marked 'containment deactivation'. Kuki had saved the team.
4 members of it, anyway.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will Nigie die of hypothermia? Will his team save him in time? I don't care! Instead, here's an important commercial message.

*ya could've asked me in a pm.....* Okay, I'll ask next time, I promise. BTW, you do >, :, and (. Now, for Chapter 8! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Four members of the kids next door's sector V stepped out of the cage they had been imprisoned in, which was now only a silver platform with a few holes in the bottom. Kuki ran over to her stuffed animal and hugged it as tightly as she could. "I knew you could do it, Mr. Wuzzlefuzz. You're so brave." As Kuki squeezed the toy, its voice box finally started working after many years of being silent. "Oh, my friend." It said. "Oh, Mr. Wuzzlefuzz!" Kuki said with delight. "Oh, mah stomach." Walabee said under his breath. "Guys, this is great an' all, bu' we should really be gettin' outta this buildin'." Abby said. "Where IS this building, anyway?" Hoagie asked. "Dunno, probably the delightful children's. We should get outta here anyway. Let's go through tha' window." Sure enough, a window, open and easy to crawl through was right in front of them. Walabee jumped out of it instantly, eager to escape. Abby went next, going through with her famous stealthy approach, as to not attract any guards attention. Next went Kuki, still hugging her beloved mouse. And Hoagie, struggling with his size and just barely getting through. Hoagie landed with a thud on his head in the pouring rain. "Wow, doesn' look like this rain's gonna stop." Abby said with surprise. "We bettuh get inside thuh house, or we'll catch a cold." "A bad cold." Kuki added. "I'd hate to be out too long here." "You said it." Hoagie said as he picked himself up. So the four friends ran as fast as they could to the figure of their treehouse. They were, in fact, at the delightful children's, so only had to run next door to get home. As they ran on, Walaee spotted something and froze. Kuki was the first one to notice him not being there. "Wally? What's wrong?" The soaked operative turned around to look at her friend. He was standing, looking at a figure on the ground. The figure made Kuki's blood run cold. There, in the mud, was the shaking, white, dying figure of Nigel Uno, who they had forgotten to save. Kuki stood there, eyes wide, looking at her leader in horror. How could they have forgotten him? Walabee felt a lump in his throat. "We can't jus' leave 'im 'ere!" He shouted. "We gotta try to get 'im inside, Kuki." Kuki nodded fearfully. She picked up Nigel's shaking body. Even through her oversized green sleeves, she felt that he was stone cold. She felt guilt rushing in, and ran towards the treehouse. Walabee ran with her, looking at his idol's agonized face with tears in his eyes. 'Ya gotta hang in there, Numbuh 1.' He thought. ''Cause ah can't live without ya. Ah jus can't.' And then he said his thoughts out loud so Nigel could hear him. He had never exposed his amiration to Nigel before, ever. He hoped finally doing it would help him get better. But Nigel couldn't hear Walabee's words or his sobbing. All he knew was that he was cold. He was too cold. All he knew was that he wanted warmth. Warmth from ANYTHING. He wanted to fall into a fire and burn forever in its nursing heat. All he could think of was how much he hated this cold, and how much he wanted to die. As Kuki and Walabee arrived at the treehouse, Hoagie and Abby stared. The sight of Kuki carrying Nigel's freezing body was enough to make both of them cry. They got Nigel's parents immediately, and they cried their share too. Nobody seemed to be crying harder than Walabee, who had floods of tears streaming down his cheeks. Nigel's parents also had a fight, and Abigail convinced his father into leaving, as he was the one who had started it by saying, "You shouldn't have let him go out there without cover!" It was Nigel's mother who had gotten aggresive, but the team agreed that she knew how to take care of Nigel better than her husband did. Nigel's mother took him into his bed and tried to figure out how serious it was. She realized at once that her son had caught hypothermia outside. She felt horrible and began to sob even harder than she had been before, instead of helping Nigel get warm. A numbness entered the leader's hands and spread through his whole body. He was completely limp, but somehow continued to shake. His blood got colder and colder. His heart began beating slower by the minute. Abigail came in. "WHY AREN'TCHA HELPIN' 'IM!?" she screamed. Her uncle had died of hypothermia, and she knew how little Nigel had before his heart stopped beating altogether. She ran out of the room as fast as she could to get blankets. "GET NUMBUH 1 AS WARM AS YA CAN!" she shouted at her friends as she ran past them. Walabee didn't waste a second. He ran into the guest room and began pulling the covers off the bed. Kuki followed him, worried. Hoagie went into the bathroom to get a hot water bottle. He found two, and decided he'd better use both of them. He turned on the tap as quickly as he could and began filling the bottle with scolding hot water. Kuki ran to another bedroom and took the covers off that bed. The two operatives met, pulling blankets behind them. They both looked at each other for a straight 10 seconds, until Walabee remembered Nigel and ran, Kuki following. Abby had actually gone u pto the treehouse and took everything she could find that might warm Nigel up. She darted down the steps and into her leader's bedroom. Mrs. Uno was gone. She had went to find Nigel warmth as well. Everyone was trying to warm Nigel up, but they weren't going fast enough. He was shivering even faster, and breathing just as fast. His skin was chalk white and his body temperature was deadly. Abigail saw him and felt tears come to her eyes. The tears only made her put all the blankets she had over Nigel faster. Nigel didn't even feel the warmth. He was too cold to feel anything. Hoagie rushed in and put not two, but THREE hot water bottles on Nigel's stomach, under his neck, and on his forehead. Then both of Nigel's parents came in and put an electric blanket under all of Nigel's covers. Walabee and Kuki rushed in a second later and threw the comforters and sheets over the shivering figure before them. Nigel's sense of feeling came back, but he was still cold. He needed just one more thing. The will to live. Nigel saw, heard, or felt nothing that made him want to live through this pain. There was no point in his life anymore. The six people, all of them scared for Nigel, looked down and him and continued to cry. Hoagie turned to the door to get more warmth, but found it blocked by a girl with black hair and tall, lively green eyes. She ran to Nigel's bed, her hands clasped. And looked at his twitching eyes. "Oh, Nigel." she said in her strong British accent. Tears filled her tall eyes and drained the life from them. The girl hugged Nigel's shivering figure, and felt it slowly warm up in her arms. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who's that mysterious girl? Well, let's think about my favourite couple. Hmmmmm...................you'll find out!
