I was brainstorming last night, and I came up with this title.
No full title yet. I'm working on it.
The plot is still very vague...it's going to be a summertime romp, most likely starring the Gilligan brothers. (Who else???)
Yes, I'm going to illustrate it.

Plot outline:
Hoagie and Tommy go out searching for fireflies.
They find out that all the fireflies are being used to light up an all-night summer school. The villain is a crazed teacher who doesn't believe in kids getting the summer off or long summer evenings.
This one is going to have more of The Tommy than Hoagie. Tommy's going to send him off to get the other KND while he rescues the kids and the fireflies.
So there's the basic plot. I'm going to start writing it in the next couple of days.

Oops, I forgot to add the outline for the very first part of the book.
Tommy wants to go out hunting for creepy-crawlies at night, so he invents a device that uses fireflies to light up his backyard. He wants Hoagie to help out with the 2x4 technology modifications. Hoagie accepts, because he thinks the idea is cool.
The thing has a million glass bulbs. There's a center area with tubes coming out from all sides. The fireflies are lured into the tube by...still working on that, I have no idea what attracts fireflies! The machine shuts down automatically at the end of the night, and the bulbs open to release the fireflies.
