Numbuh 1 stood in front of the Delightful Children from Down the Lane’s mansion. He gritted his teeth that the five goodie-goodie obeying children.
“Where is she?!” he demanded with outrage.
“You’re late.” they hissed, smirking. “Too bad…Father was about to put her back into the torture chamber for one last time.
Nigel narrowed his dark blue eyes from behind his sunglasses. He grabbed them by the collars, gritting his teeth, throwing them straight down into the concrete beneath them. There the bald boy looked down into their cold, blue eyes of bitterness.
“Where is she..?” he repeated in a murmur. “You all better tell me right now or I’ll…”
The Delightful Children let out a cold laugh as Nigel continually pounded them against the concrete. “Touch us again, and she’ll be dead before you can blink!” they threatened him.
Nigel curled his lip, biting the bottom of it to feel his blood of his pain. He clutched his fists tighter against the Delightful Dorks’ collars. Nigel knew that he was defeated. He let out a shudder, letting the five children go, backing away to make room for them.
“Fine. But make it quick, or else you’ll all be regretting it. Take me to my Supreme Leader.”
“Very well.” the Delightful Children replied, smirking.

The Delightful Children led in front, Nigel at the rear, leading them to Father’s office. They entered the code to enter the room.
Father waited in his large armchair, watching the young supreme leader of the Kids Next Door whimper in the middle of the cold floor. Wounds covered her everywhere, with her tiger-striped sweater torn, and her helmet that was no where to be seen. The side of Rachel’s forehead was covered with dark blood, rolling down the side of her face. Her mouth was slit up, her lip bleeding. Her right shoulder was deeply cut, bleeding nonstop. She moaned a little until going unconscious. The golden blonde hair of hers was a mess.
Lastly, Rachel’s beautiful brown eyes, cowering in such a great fear.
Father grinned at her. Suddenly, her heard his door opening. He glanced up, seeing out of the corner of his yellow eyes, his nephew appearing in the doorway.
“Ah, come in, come in, my dear nephew.” Father said, motioning his hand for Nigel to step into the dark room. “You know it’s rude to keep a lady waiting.”
Nigel took one look at the crumpled girl and raced across the room to her, kneeling down to her. He took her into his arms, cradling her like a baby that had been crying nonstop.
“Hey Rach, come on now, say something…” Nigel said in his softest whisper.
He looked at the commander’s body that was badly bruised and bloody. He shuddered after glancing at her forehead. And there he reached out, wiping the dark, heavy red blood from her forehead. Nigel’s heart broke-up into small, crumpled pieces seeing her like this.
“Ah, a bloody reunion, I should say, huh Nephew?” Father smirked. “You should have heard her about oh, I don’t know, a few minutes ago, she was full of beautiful melodies of cries and whimpers of harmony. What lovely music, even better than classical and all the others, I’ll say! One of the best.”
A weak whimper suddenly escaped from the supreme leader’s lips, into a faint whisper of cries. “Ni….gel…”
Nigel gritted his teeth, holding Rachel tighter, never letting go. He didn’t want to lose her again. No. Not this time. Not ever. He stroked her hair, rocking her back and forth in his arms. “It’s okay, everything will be alright, you’ll see Rachel.. I‘m here now.” he told her softly into her ear. “I’ll get you out of here safe and sound. I promise.”
He then gave his uncle a glare through his sunglasses. “Ok. Fine, you want me. You got me. But you have to allow me to take Rachel home first. Back to my tree house. I need to take her home pronto.”
The dark figure gave out a high-pitched, cold chuckle. “Oh, no-no, my dear Nephew. She’ll be staying right here. But she will not be going back to the Sector V tree house, or moon base for that matter.” Another shrill full of laughter filled the room, making Nigel sweat with fear.
Rachel finally managed to open her eyes just a little, tilting her head, seeing a glance of Nigel appear before her. Her hand weakly reached out, touching his, almost slipping. He looked down. A sight of relief filled his heart.
“Nigel…” she said his real name weakly, reaching out and touching his cheek ever so gently, “Please tell me this is only a dream…Please.” she pleaded weakly.
“It’s not a dream, Rachel.” Nigel assured her, placing his hand on hers that is still on his cheek. “I wish it was. I wish you were at home, safe. I wish you were back up on the moon base, issuing orders to everyone.”
“No…” Rachel’s throat caught a whimper. “Oh God no… Nigel, why did you disobey me for coming here? I ordered you not to come here! You don’t know what he’ll do to you!” The young blonde began to sob into Nigel’s chest, holding him close to her. Nigel rubbed her back, kissing the other side of her forehead, comforting her. “You mean everything to me.” she whispered, then shuddered.
Nigel sighed, he didn’t even turn his head towards Father to speak. “Let me guess… You have the Delightfulazation Chamber warmed up for me, correct?”
Rachel whimpered once more, lightly touching the back of Nigel’s hand. “No…” she whispered. Her eyes watered up tears even more. “Get out of here! I order you!”
Father got up from his chair, moving his pipe from side-to-side. “Oh no, dear Nephew. This time it’s personal. I’ve been waiting for so long to Delightfulize you along like I did back in the past with the Legendary Sector Z. Oh, I’ll be enjoying every moment of this! Come.” The dark figure walked over to the Delightfulazation Chamber that was just a few feet away.
Nigel had no choice. “It will save you. From him.” he told Rachel in the slightest whisper. “I’m sorry…” Rachel sobbed harder, trying to wrap her arms around him to hold him back from going into that hazardous machine, but was too weak.
The bald operative stood up, laying Rachel down gently as possible, walking over to the chamber.
Father started it. “Good boy.” he grinned, an evil chuckle escaping the ends of his throat. Nigel sighed, looking back at Rachel, who watched miserably in complete sorrow.
“I love you.” He whispered, then stepping into the machine, that closed the door behind him.
Rachel’s brown eyes swelled with tears, letting out her cries and whimpers. “No…!”
