Pass On By I've known you as long as I can remember. I only saw the time flash by, Racing from January to December, Through the corner of my eye. Were we meant to be, Or were we just caught up in the same wave? Is it our destiny, To be buried in the same shallow grave? Every pain and pleasure, we share. And I can't see it any other way. The good and evil our hearts bear, Beat on in unison each passing day. What is it like to be alone, Longing for another voice so near? Such a feeling I've never known, For yours are the sounds I always hear. I don't know if it will change someday, If fate will change our courses, Leading each of us way onto way, Riding us like horses... I know that you would never try to leave me behind. That idea has never worried me, I won't lie. But the question always sticks in the back of my mind: Is it really forever... or will we pass on by?
