Man, I wanna see if he'll ever answer about Hoagies Dad!

I'm wondering how they're going to do the crossover...it doesn't really make sense for them to be in the same universe (too many differences) and to be honest I don't WANT them to be in the same universe. So far as I can see, here are the possibilities:
1) Both exist in the same universe, making it easy to crossover (similar to how Disney did some crossovers of their cartoons, such as Kim Possible being on Lilo & Stitch)
2) Codename: Kids Next Door is a TV show in the Billy & Mandy universe, and they somehow enter it (similar to the Futurama/Simpsons crossover they did in the comics, where the characters from Futurama enter an old Simpsons comic book)
3) Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is a TV show in the KND universe, and they somehow enter it (see above)
4) They exist in two separate universes and somehow a portal is made between them (similar to the Timmy Jimmy Power Hours that Nickelodeon made)

I think most likely it's $4, and I'm kind of hoping for it to be 4 anyway. Anyone have any other ideas?

Now that I think of it more, is it going to be a Billy & Mandy episode that crosses into KND, a KND episodes that crosses into Billy & Mandy, or is it going to just be a special that's not really an episode of either? (like those Timmy Jimmy Power Hours I just mentioned)

I don't really watch B&M, it's a little TOO strange for me.
I never thought it'd be a crossover with them, well I suppose B&M have mentioned KND in they're episodes

Example I got from Wiki:

KND were referred to in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. In the episode "Sickly Sweet", Grim was watching TV, and someone sounding like Numbuh 4 said: "Numbuh 3! Get back to the treehouse and clean up this Numbuh 2 mess, before Numbuh 1 gets back!"
Also in "Billy and Mandy vs. the Martians", when the kids see a hologram similar to the hologram in KND Billy says "Hey, This isn't Codename: Kids Next Door!"

I saw the part with Billy saying "Hey, This isn't Codename: Kids Next Door!” never saw the other Reference though, But if Grim was watching KND on TV most likely he's get into the TV and be in KND (The TV show in they're world)

Q: The Sector V character designs and personalities are really
interesting… Where did you base them on? Were they based on
real-life people? (Or maybe things that you’re familiar with?)
A: no, the KND aren't really based on real people (although i'd like to think there's a piece of me in each of them). but they are
based on certain archetypes (the fearless leader, the tough guy,
etc). the great thing about having so many episodes is that you
get to explore those characters to find what the fearless leader
is scared of, how the tough guy is weak, etc.

Q: The premiere of Op. ZERO, will it be woldwide?? You see, I live
in the Philippines and I'm since pretty sure that we don't
even have season 5 yet, the KND movie will probably come out
later here than the US release. I just wanted clarification so I
wouldn't get my hopes up...
(And, uh.... Will ZERO come out soon in Asia after the US release?)
A: no, the premiere won't be worldwide... we tried, but UK
channel said that a good part of europe shuts down in august
and they wanted to wait to premiere it when more folks would
be around. as for asia... i have no idea. but i'll keep my ears open
and my fingers crossed for ya.

Q: Umm... seeing as you confirmed my suspision of a KND/Billy
and Mandy crossover special, how are you connected to Maxwell
Atoms?
A: when we were babies, maxwell atoms and i were found in the
wilderness being raised by ninja chimpmunks. he was adopted
by a family on the west coast and me on the east coast and only
recently did we find out we were brothers. and it's kind of in the
rules that ninja chimpmunk brothers make a cartoon together.
the rest is history.

Besides, Billy and Mandy isn't the ONLY crossover special, me thinks... He said that one of those specials is with Billy and Mandy, meaning there could be OTHER crossovers.

And Billy and Mandy is pretty tolerable, IMO. It'd be interesting to see them interact.

ABout the crossover, I'm wondering how the animation's gonna come out. They'd still preserve the thick stroked (photoshop term) M. Atom style or convert them into T. Warburton style? Either way, I'm still looking forward to those specials.

Actually, I watched an episode of Billy and Mandy a long time ago, and during one scene, a monster appeared while a man was doing some sort of commercial (or news report. I'm not sure...). When I looked closer, the man was drawn in a different style as the one Maxwell Atoms usually does. In fact, it sort of looked like the same style KND is drawn...

... I forgot which episode of BaM it was, though...

WOW this epsiode's gonna be special. I don't really mind as to how they crossover but I'm just glad they do!
