glad to hear you wanna become an animator! it's a sooper triple hard
job, but a fun one! i snuck in some tidbits of advice below!
Q: Will the DCFDTL die? (I hope not)
A: that's be sad!
Q: What happened to Hoggie's dad?
A: i wonder if well ever find out!
Q: In SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK was that your old animation style and your
animation style changed over time?
A: i was just an animator and director on some of the newer schoolhouse
rocks like 'the tale of mr. morton' and 'dollars and sense'. it wasn't
my style at all but i loved drawing it. that's the thing about
animation, you need to be able to work in LOTS of different styles! if
you want to work in this business, you should practice drawing all
different kinds of characters... even ones you don't like! you never
know when you might have to draw for your job! but always work on your
OWN style, too (like your fun wolf character!)
Q: Are you planning to make any other KND characters after ZERO?
A: you never know when more KND will pop up! there'll still be a whole
6th season, and two giant sized specials after ZERO so we're not going
away anytime soon!
Q: How manny emails do you get. Alot?
A: lately, more than ever! i think people are getting pretty amped
about the movie!
Q: What other animated TV shows did you animate or do?
A: nickelodeon's doug, MTV's beavis and butthead, disney's pepper ann,
CN's sheep in the big city. see the difference in styles of these
shows?
Q: Have you heard of Garfield? Jim Davis?
A: of course. garfield rocked back in the day. you should practice
drawing comic strips, too!
